I really did not need these spoons but purchased them because they matched my kitchen. After the first use I was so glad I had bought them. They are very lightweight and easy to handle while also being very durable. Heavy batters are no problem for these spoons. They are also easy to clean. My wooden spoons just got replaced!

The silicone spatula and spoonula were the first two kitchen tools I received from the Giada line. After using both, I was sold and added the rest to my wedding registry. The tools are beautiful and sophisticated and most importantly--great quality. This spoonula is fantastic. It is durable and can withstand thick mixes or batters. It is perfect for recipes that call for "folding in" certain ingredients. I was very impressed when I used my spoonula to mix golden graham indoor smore tr eats. The recipe includes melting marshmallows and chocolate chips on the stove and then mixing it into a bowl of cereal, more marshmallows, and more chocolate chips. It is a very sticky recipe but it did not stick to the spoonula, thanks to the silicone. The spoonula has been so easy to use and to clean. The Giada line is dishwasher safe, but I prefer to hand wash my kitchen utensils and tools to prevent possible rusting from sitting idly in the dishwasher.I really love the Giada kitchen tools and definitely recommend them. I love using them and I am so happy to finally have quality utensils that match. They will add sophistication and happiness to your kitchen!
