Giovanni Leave-In Conditioner - 8.5 oz. product details page

I love organic products for my hair and this was the first that I tried on my natural, black hair. It is very lightweight and has a light citrus scent. My other half is allergic to a lot of scents, but this one did not bother him at all. I used ti after a wash as a leave-in on my damp hair and it was refreshing. By the third or four day, though, I did have to re-moisturize. I like it for my son's curly hair, and my other half loves it, but I have found other products that moisturize my hair longer and better under the same conditions as i used this.

I was looking for my old standby at my local target which is Shea Moisture. Turns out that particular one didn't have it. I was really disappointed but i didn't want to leave empty handed. I ended up buying the Giovanni Wellness shampoo &condish and the Giovanni Direct Leave In. Oh my goodness. It was sooooo silky and light. I didn't have to use too much. I usually spend a lot of time trying to get all the product through my kinky curly hair . Everything just sits on top of my fro like a h air force field is blocking it and usually requires quite a bit of water and manipulation to work it into the rest of my hair. this leave in was just so slippery that it was so easy to saturate all of my hair. the detangling was light work -which is a big deal for me-. 3 hrs to twist my hair last night -tiny tiny twists- and I didn't have to re-wet my hair at all to finish it. This is my new line. and i can't wait to try the tea tree triple treat.

Since going natural 8yrs ago I have tried many different products, but I must say this Giovanni direct leave-in conditioner has been a stable product for me. It keeps my hair soft, managable and defines my curls. This is a must have!

This product was on my list of things to try so i finally got it. I have other leave ins that work for me so i didnt know how i was gonna use this. Then i made a moisturizing hair spritz with this leave in, castor oil, tea tree oil and olive oil. I spray my transitioning hair with it everyday or whenever i need to and it makes my hair soo soft and moisturized. Idk if its all of the products working together or just the leave in. I will use it alone soon though.

I AM AN AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN AND MY HAIR IS LIKE A BRILLO PAD.LOL SERIOUSLY, BUT WHEN I USE JUST A LITTLE BIT WITH MY THICK FRO, IT REALLY SOFTENS MY HAIR AND I CAN COMB RIGHT THRU IT. I SAY TRY IT. :)

This is a wonderful conditioner!! I am African American with 4b hair and this conditioner is absolutely wonderful. It has natural ingredients and smells great, too!

This is a thick, creamy leave-in conditioner with a light, clean scent. A little goes a very long way. I'm African American with natural 4b hair. I use this leave-in on wet or dry hair and it keeps my hair soft and moisturized. I'd buy it in bulk if I could!!
