I received two set of these canisters off of my bridal registry and was extremely disappointed. They look nice in appearance but are horrible for storing anything. My lids twist on as they are suppose to but then the silver top detaches from the twist part of the lid so they are not air tight at all. You can not lift them by the lid or it comes right off. If you plan to store anything that needs to be in an air tight container, DO NOT BUY THESE.

These are awesome! I put noodles in them and set them out on my counter. They look expensive and they are super handy since we eat a lot of pasta.
