This digital cooking thermometer is programmed with preset temperature levels from rare to well done. Select one of seven present doneness levels or set a specific temperature. The alarm sounds when food reaches preset temperature and 99 minute countdown timer. It ranges from 32°F to 212°F and –0°C to 100°C; °F/°C switchable. It comes in stainless steel faceplate, stainless steel food probe with silicone cord cover and a magnetic back with stand. The auto shut off helps extend the battery life and operate on 2 AAA batteries (included).

I've had a great experience. I cross checked with other slower thermometers for accuracy. It's super simple to set. I love that I can cook in the oven, and check the temperature without opening and closing the door and loosing heat. Only thing missing is I wish it had an alarm for a temperature BELOW your goal for when you are trying to cool to a specific temperature. Very happy overall.

I returned it and I wished I had read the reviews before purchase. Before this model, I trusted this product, but they are not making them the way they used to.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband, who loves to cook. He attempted to use it once, and stated it "the reading cuts in and out". Luckily, the store refunded me. After reading the other reviews on here, I should have never purchased this thermometer.

I bought this item for my father for Christmas. We had a similar one and the temperature gauge broke. The same thing happend to this one just 1 month after I bought it. The temperature reads "HI" all of the time. It is attractive and has a magnet on the back so it sticks to the oven but broke after only 1 month.
