My husband and I would both agree that this seat has been well worth the money. We have been using it -very hard- for the past 2 years with our 3 year old son and we cannot wait to get one ordered for our 1 year old who is about to transfer to a new seat. We travel A LOT moving the seat from car to car and it is still in great shape. We have been searching -in Iowa- but have not found the new law about rear-facing till 2 that we had heard about, so at this time plan to get this seat. Love the
cup holder but would like 2 of them, and the inside compartments on the arm rests are a life saver, they hold all the small toys that get carried back and forth from the house and car. Unless you have extremely high expectations for luxury -which I feel this one does a pretty good job- for you child you won't regret this purchase.

I bought 2 of these, 1 for my car and 1 for my husbands truck and I am now preparing to buy 2 more for my other son! My son loves this car seat. He says it is comfortable, easy for him to get in and out of, he only has a little difficulty with buckling the crotch buckle. The only thing I wish Graco did, was put another cup or snack holder on the other arm rest. I will never buy another kind of car seat again, and for the price, you cant beat it!!
I like that this seat is safe and comfortable for my son, who can use it for years to come. The price is very reasonable. It was easy to install. It is also user friendly. I can put my son in his seat and take him out with ease.
We have 3 kids and we learned with our oldest that you can spend alot of money on 3 to 4 different car seats while your child is growing up. This one is safe and takes the place of three car seats in 1, really! Very cost efffective. I am not one to sacrifice my child's safety for affordability and with this car seat I do not have to sacrifice anything to keep my kids the safest I can. I love this car seat!
This is the carseat your child can grow with. I put my son in it at 9 months and at 2 1/2 yrs today it has gone thru several washes and is as durable as ever. I have recommended this carseat to family and friends and they too are pleased with their purchase. Easy to install, adjust, dis assemble, wash, and assemble again. Love it and am planning on buying another one for my next child.
My husband and I were struggling with whether we should shell out a ton of money for the Britax versions of this car seat. We decided to get one Britax Frontier and one Graco Nautilis. The Graco was a big mistake on many fronts. The center buckle can be confusing. It seems like it is latched when it is not, which would make me very nervous about letting grandparents take my kids anywhere and not realizing they aren't buckled in properly. If you want to adjust the shoulder strap positions,
you have to uninstall the whole car seat. The latch connectors were hard to work with, compared with the Britax. And worst of all, we could not get the latch strap to tighten properly. We tried pulling from every angle, and no matter how hard we pulled, the seat just slid around afterwards. None of these things were problems with the Britax Frontier, so we returned the Graco and bought a second Britax. Definitely worth the extra money.
my 3 year old and i were in a head-on collision! the vehicle that hit us was going 70 mph and we were doing 60! i suffered many injuries and my car was completely totaled! my son walked away with no injuries, not even a scratch! the seat held him in so good and comfortably that he slept through the entire thing! i will never buy another kind of carseat again! this one is as good as it gets!
My 40lb 2.5 year old fits great in this seat, I can tell that he will have a lot of room to grow as he gets bigger. On a trivial note, he really likes that the arm rests have secret "cubbies" on the inside as a place for him to hide his cars.
This is a good car seat and we used a Graco infant seat before purchasing this one, however, my 16 month old has figured out how to unclip himself from the chest and shoulder harness. I know that this is a common thing with car seats and 1 year olds....I think? But the clip just doesn't feel like it fastens tight enough. My son barely has to touch it and it comes apart. Other than the major safety concern, the basic ergonomics of the seat are good.
