I love this stuff. It's easy to apply, I like the light scent, and I don't find it to be as messy as another name brand. In 18 months, this is only the second tube I've had to order because a little goes a long way!

This is awesome to use, but is especially good with cloth diapers. Other rash ointments can cause cloth diaper to loose soaking abilities after a while, but this doesn't.

I bought one 2oz. tube when my daughter was born. She is now 18mo old and the tube is finally getting near empty. So in my eyes that's a bargain. It works like magic on diaper rash. Gone in one day. She had her most severe one a few months ago and it only lasted through one night. I also use it on my sons dry skin. It seems to do better than most lotions I have tried. It is also wonderful on chapped cheeks in the winter. I now get a tube of this to go in every baby shower gift I give. Oh.. and it smells really great too.

LOVE THIS!

My diaper service recommended this product because my son gets diaper rash all the time! He was allergic to disposables and this is safe to use on cloth. It does have some petroleum which can damage cloth, however it is so slight and when using it, you don't need a lot to cover and prevent. We use this anytime he is going to be in a diaper for a while, going out, naps and bed time. His diaper rash is gone and hasn't come back as long as we use it for those times! This is such a great product! I would recommend this to anyone no matter what kind of diaper you use! Oh and by the way, my son is allergic to everything and we have no problems with this!

After a weekend of swimming in the lake, being wet and miserable in her swim diaper, my 20 month old developed a horrible rash on her bottom with white spots and bleeding. I pulled out some prescription strength cream that a dermatologist had given me a while back. It did nothing, so the next day, (the rash was much worse now) I pulled out a sample of Grandma El's that I had gotten somewhere (not sure where--maybe a hospital baby bag) and I applied it to her bottom. Within a few hours her botto m looked sooooo much better. The next day the white spots were gone and no signs of bleeding. I am impressed. I ordered 2 bottles of this stuff and can't wait to receive it. My son also has some dry spots on his legs and I can't wait to see what it does for him, too! Oh, and the smell is incredible!

My son hasn't been born yet so I cannot say how it works on diaper rash, but I just wanted to pass on that in my research on cloth diapers this product came up several times being recommended (certain diaper creams/gels aren't good to use with the cloth diapers).I know I read the reviews looking for this tidbit, so I thought I'd pass it along.

I picked up some of this diaper rash ointment a while back and have been using it whenever my daughter shows signs of rash. Besides the fact that it has been working great and my daughter LOVES the cute picture of the baby on the front and always wants to hold it, and besides the fact that it's the only diaper rash treatment she doesn't mind being applied, I have to tell you about my experience tonight. I am so grateful for this product. My daughter woke up crying a very distressed cry which is abnormal for her. I couldn't figure out what was wrong; the usual ways of consoling her weren't working and she wouldn't tell me what was wrong in her usual ways. She just kept crying this long, sad cry. Finally, she reached down to her diaper area, giving me a clue. I laid her down for a diaper change, being sure to grab our tube of "Grandma El's". First of all, just at the sight of this product she started to become comforted (we've used it a few times), she signed "baby" (in ASL baby signs) and wanted to hold the tube. I opened her diaper and, sure enough, the area was covered with a bright red rash! Poor baby! She usually fights ointments being put on, so I told her I would help her with her diaper ointment. She laid still and let me apply the diaper rash remedy all around the red area. I tell you, as soon as I started applying it she became completely relaxed, no more crying, left-over tears just sitting on her face as she watched her mommy help her. As I snapped up her diaper her eyes were beginning to droop again and she immediately fell asleep, holding "her diaper ointment with the baby on the front" gently in her hand. I gave her a kiss, but she didn't even stir, so comfortably sleeping she was. Grandma El's is absolutely a superior product! I am so grateful that we happened upon this product!

This works really well, but one of the ingredients is willow bark. Willow bark is salicylic acid. Not really supposed to be putting that on baby. Not to mention it has petrolatum, which comes from fossil fuel. We are finding out we should not be using petroleum products on a regular basis. Won't buy again.

This is the only rash cream I've found that REALLY works! I'm not one to jump on the "organic" or "natural" bandwagon, but this product is great. It cleared my daughter's rash that she had for 3 weeks in just one day.
