Granite Ware 8 pc Canner Set - Black (21.5 qt) product details page

I ordered this online but was very disappointed to find out that I had to return it as the label clearly stated that it was not recommended for glass top stoves. This is not disclosed on the web description. This was such a great deal, so I am truly disappointed. To make matters worse, the competing Ball canning set also should not be used on glass top stoves. Both should be great for gas stoves.

Awesome set even at [$]. I will say the pot is thinner than those of days gone bye. I found this set in my store and paid a whole [$] It identical to the Ball canner set sold at [...], except the tools are green, not Ball Blue. I suspect these are on in store clearance, so go grab one, You wont be disappointed

The quality is just as I remember my parents' growing up. My only qualm is that the magnet is not quite strong enough to pick up the lids, but I never used one as a child anyway so I wasn't too concerned. Great value for the money!

This pot is HUGE! With the rack provided I was able to boil/seal 14 half pint jars at once. I priced every item included in this set individually and saved over [$]. PERFECT set for every level of canner!

The item is a good value for a begginer at canning. It came quickly and I appreciate that. The only problem was the pot was damaged a little in but was still usable so I did not return it.

I have just started researching the whole canning process. With food prices so high-we are farming and canning this year. I researched many canning sets and let me say this is really a great deal. Most just sell the pot separate for [$] and up. Then to get all of the utensils and rack is another cost. This set was [$] on another site! I was greatly surprised when I got this and seen the quality of the items. A++++ all the way!!

I was entirely happy with this purchase! Thanks for the quick delivery and the canner was exactly what I wanted. Nothing fancy schmancy, just practical and sturdy. Now I can't wait for the growing season to start so I can put up my harvest.

I received two of the granite ware canning pots. I was really excited to give them as gifts. One was fine but the other pot is all bent and dinged up. [...] I still think it will be a great item just poor shipping. I wish in came in its own individual box!
