My daughter wears this over a navy blue tee and dark jeggings and looks ADORABLE! She actually asks to wear it. It is a very lightweight jacket that will be perfect for spring. My 19-month-old daughter is tall and would normally wear size 24 months. I bought this in a size 3T because it looked like it runs small and I'm glad I did. A 2T would fit her right now and not allow for growing room, so I definitely recommend buying a size or two larger than your child normally wear.

This is a VERY cute top in person, but I was surprised to see that it wasn't lined. I wasn't expecting a sweat shirt, but thought it would have some kind of lining in it. I guess it would work great if you just needed a thin long sleeve cover up for one of those sort of cool types of weather but not cool enough for a sweatshirt. I may be returning it because while I love that it's unique and very cute, I don't know if it's worth it since I wanted something slightly more substantial. I can't sp eak to how it washes since, as I said, I may be returning it. And definitely buy a size or two larger. My daughter is a small 3t and I ordered a 4T and 5T, since i heard the range runs small, and if I keep it, I'd get the 5T for sure- 4T looked about the size of a roomy 2T.
