We got this as a gift. Both my kids, my parents and my adult siblings were cracking up and totally engaged with these. They skitter all over, right themselves and turn around. Very fun for [$]. I plan make this a regular gift for kids of all (non-choking hazard) ages.

Bought two of these little bugs, and my three cats are fascinated by them! They are fun, durable, and provide lots of entertainment for the cats. Especially like that they turn around when they meet an obstacle, and can right themselves if they overturn. One cat was particularly impressed to see the bug run under the door to the front hall closet, then reappear in a few seconds--this cat routinely "loses" toys when they get batted under doors and furniture. This toy is a worldwide hit with my cat-loving friends--they've reached the UK, Australia, Japan and Scandinavia!My young grandsons also enjoy playing with the bugs, and watching the cats play with them. They are cool toys, but it is something we don't play with it every day. We would buy more. They are pretty sturdy.

I'm 27 and this toy brings out the kid in me. I bought these bugs with the kit for my nephew's birthday and when he took it out of the package, I couldn't stop playing with it. They act like real bugs. When you place it on it's back, it goes back on it's feet. Creepy. LOL! I highly recommend these for kids. For both boys and girls.

I placed 2 separate orders and both arrived super fast with excellent packaging. What we love most about these toys are that they are perfect for take-along. They are small and their jiggling, squiggling movements keep the kids engaged. We built tunnels from paper towel roll tubes and masking tape and used boxes and egg cartons for "habitats" - aka, take along a roll of masking tape and your kids will be occupied on vacation with stuff that does not take up the whole suitcase! Perfect for on the plane too.

i bought two of these a while ago and i have had loads of fun building mazes for them to run through. the habitat is not worth the money, i would rather buy three Hexbugs for the price of one habitat. i have tried racing them down a roof ( i recommend you don't get up there) and one fell off. when i checked on it it was still going! very durable i have dropped them many times they still work these are the best Hex bugs you can get battery last pretty well too i recommend this item to be bought at a store 5 out of 5 item though

The picture makes it look like you are getting multiple bugs in a tube. You aren't. You're only getting one (hence one star) and they kill you with the shipping for one little item.
