From my experience I can tell you I think the heater works pretty well. The 1 I have from 5 years ago actually still works, but didn't come with digital settings like this 1. For the small package it comes in it really seems to get the job done. Some of the medium temps may SEEM to only work when they feel like it. But the higher max temps never fail in case you're freezing to death. But keep in mind the system is designed not to BLAST ALL DAY. But to get the room heated and save you money on y our electric bill. Again if I need another heater for a smaller room. I would definitely purchase another one of these from Holmes.

Straight out of the box, the heat settings do not work. The heater will blow on low and max, but it will not work at all when selecting a temperature. This will be going back. I wish I could find the same Honeywell model I bought at Target 3 years ago, it is still going strong.
