I bough this heater to put in a office area and when I turned it on I wasn't feeling much warmth at all. If i put my hand right next to it I can feel a little bit but when I sit even 5 feet back from it i feel cool air b ... see more

I read reviews saying this heater couldn't heat much more than 2 feet away from itself...and everyone was right. The amount of heat is pretty good, but it's not effective if you're not sitting directly in front of it. We used it almost every day in the winter, just for about an hour or so each day. We kept the temperature about halfway and it would turn off for cool-down almost every 10 minutes. The heater only lasted for two months and now will not work at all. I would NOT recommend buying t his product. Even though it's a great price, you get what you pay for and that's not a lot.

I walked into my local target store to purchase a heater. I saw this one and i knew right off the bat it wasn't going to turn my apartment into a sauna in 2 minutes, which i was ok with. I'm patient. I connected, started watching tv and minding my own business when all of a sudden the tv shut off along with the heater. I thought maybe it was the tv so i turned everything back on and again. [...]I tried connecting it to another socket and saw some sparks come out of the connection. What did i do? Threw it back in the box and I'm taking it back to target tomorrow. No thank you [...]

I even have the thermostat up all the way and the fan on the highest setting and still not much good from it. I am ready to take this fan back and get a different one. I would recommend not getting this fan what so ever,

I bought this heater to go under my desk at work. I literally have to put it under my chair to get any heat out of this thing. I'm taking it back and upgrading.

i pay alot for expensive heater and they dont do the job doesnt heat instantly like indirect heat who know what they might do to you indirectly this one is so affordable [...] with a thermostat all natural heatthey blow cool air in the back but i got use to it make more of this and i am happy

This is a great little heater and fan. I've had it for almost 2 years and have used it in the office and in the bathroom at home. It heats really well. I also love that it has different heating temperatures and settings. The only problem I've had is with it shorting out. However, it's fairly easy to fix and the instructions are on the unit.

This heater is durable and does its job. The settings are basic and it heats up quickly. I would definitely recomend this for a small surface area. It will definitely be an asset to me in my office this winter! One negative thing is that the shipping took forever.

I just purchased Holmes small basic table heater at my local target store.When I plugged it in the first time I smelled something burning immediatly and the fan would not turn on at all. You get what you pay for. I returned the heater to Target and was given a refund. I since upgraded to a better quality heater from a different manufacterer. All is well now. Avoid the Holmes table top heater as it is poorly manufactered.
