I purchased two of these lamp shades for the lamps on my bedside tables. Shortly after buying them, I started noticing a very strong smell in my bedroom (similar to B.O.). For days I have been smelling everything in my bedroom trying to figure out where the smell is coming from. This evening I had both lamps turned on and noticed the smell was even stronger. I smelled the lampshades. The terrible chemical smell is coming from them!! I can't believe I have been inhaling these fumes every night w hile I sleep!!

The other review said theirs didn't fit but mine worked fine. Its on the actual base without the harp. The linen texture and woven look is wonderful. Def. worth the money in my opinion. Thinking about getting 2 more for my bedroom night stand lamps >???? we'll see :)

I returned this item after ordering 2 of them, because it doesn't fit a normal lamp harp. i even tried taking the harp off and putting it at the base of the lightbulb and that didn't work either.
