If used too long, the heat becomes too much but that is solved by simply turning off the heat.It can be painful in some positions but again, that is solved by adjusting the massager or my body. Unlike others, I CAN use it while sitting in a chair with a back and have used it lying down. I have to adjust it to get in a posi tion that does not hurt me but I can do it.My one complaint is that is only massages on the outside. It would be fantastic if it could massager down the middle of the neck as well.

My sister lives in Kansas, so I ordered online and had Target ship this over to her on Mother's Day. She said she absolutely loves it. It looks like it would work well!

Although it did take a little longer to get the item, I have really enjoyed using it on a daily basis. I do have one concern however, once I got the item for some reason I continued to get auto emails apologizing for my not getting the item (indicating is was out of stock). However, I had it within two weeks of the original order. Just to let you know, not a huge deal.I shop at Target about once a month and am happy overall with service and products.Thank you for asking for my input.

It would be nice if the nubs could get more of the upper back/traps too, but other than that this thing is cool.

I had posterior cervical spinal fusion about 6 months ago and was looking for an effective yet economical neck massager to help me loosen up my neck muscles. This product does a very good job of doing that.

I couldn't think of anything that my best friend would want for Xmas. She's been under the weather and is spending more time indoors. This wasn't a bad massager. I got it for my husbands shoulders and neck, but he needs a deeper massage so we returned it. If your looking for that deep hard stuff, look elsewhere. But a nice warm gentle massage is what you get with this.

I had no idea what to expect when ordering this massager except from the other reviews. I got this product for my husband who has a lot of neck tension...I liked the idea of the massager having handles to hold as well as the heat option. My husband has used it every day since he received it. He said it's the next best thing to real hands. The price was a bonus. When looking at other massagers to buy, this one had all the perks plus a great price! I'd recommend this to anyone!
