people actually compliment this fan in my house! it's quiet, glamorous and runs great -I have mine on 24/7 and it doesn't affect the function of the fan one bit. I am ordering several more just so I don't ever run out ... see more about best fan ever review

Pros:- Good looking fan- well-constructed structurally- it's not plastic- it's not black or whiteCons:- speeds are in reverse order from fastest to slowest- lowest speed is fast, medium speed is very fast, max speed super fast (and loud)- squeaks when it oscillates (on the first day of use)- limited range for up and down angleWould I buy it again? Eh, I guess so.Features I wish it had:- no squeaks- even more speeds including low ones- adjust the range of the oscillate arc- remote control- sleep timer

What I like about this fan: The brushed nickel finish. The slide control. The cute knob for the tilt. It looks sort of old-timey. What I don't like: The black cord - I don't know, couldn't they have made it gray? On High, it sounds like an airplane about to take off. On Medium, it's almost as loud. Now, on low, it's starting to make more noise than it did a few days ago. When I have it on Oscillating, when it gets to the left (facing me)it makes a weird clinking noise. I thought my cats were pl aying with a piece of metal on the tile floor. But they weren't. When it gets to the right side, it makes a grinding noise. I thought maybe it was hitting the tilt knob, but it's not. It doesn't put out that much air to be worth this much money. Every so often, on any speed, it will making a strange WHOOSHing noise - as though it's taking itself to a higher level or something, and then back down again. I don't really know if I would keep this fan even if it cost [$]. It's just too noisy and I don't think it's going to last that long.

It's great! I use it to sleep by. Not too loud, stirs the air and I'm not even using the oscillating option. Like the idea of metal vs. plastic.

This fan is great for my small apt - it's light weight, compact, efficient, there's a handle on the back to move it around, it's quiet and it looks good. Worth the bit of extra money to get rid of the big ugly plastic box fan.

I wasn't really intending to buy something as fancy as this but it was love at first sight! It's a classy must-have for lovers of vintage look furniture! The exterior of the fan is all metal, including the fan blades. It features are very easy to use sliding dial for speeds, no more button pressing or knob turning! It's super quiet compared to a lot of other table fans of similar size but it has the strength to push out a lot of air. It's worth every penny for someone who loves form AND function!

I bought this same fan from Tuesday Morning, not realizing Target had it on their site. I love the sort of vintage look. It is heavy compared to other cheapo fans I've bought in the past (that never last long). It is great to sleep to on the lowest speed, but I would have trouble sleeping if it was on the higher speeds. I would definitely recommend it!

i hate plastic, so for that reason alone love this fan. been using same one for years, so price not bad when consider how long lasts. easy clean, cover pops off and secures back on without added screws. use at night for little white noise, helps me and dog sleep better, and during summer keeps air circulating.

See what I did just there? Amazing play on words for ya! Seriously though, this fan is amazing - it's sturdy, quiet and oh so stylish! So much better than a black or white plastic boring table fan. This is form and function at its finest!

I was looking for a desk fan for a little while and came across this little beauty at Target. It is chic and slick with beautiful form. Its looks are only surpassed by its function. Great range of motion, heavy and sturdy and air flows great from this fan. I would recommend this to anyone.
