The dress itself is shapeless and dull. It's lightweight, and semi sheer. Paired with a cute belt to accentuate the waist, winterized with boots, and a nice cardigan, and you'd be amazed just how absolutely lovely this dress can be. I haven't figured out how I'm going to style it for summer, which makes me think this will be put away with the rest of my winter stuff. I wouldn't wear the dress by itself though. It looks like a red potato sack all by itself.

I actually got this at the store, first i wasn't gonna get it but i am glad that i picked it up, i just fall in love with it after i tried it on, love love love it!

This dress gets 5 stars for fit and styling before washing. Post-wash, I would give this zero stars for shrinkage. After reading reviews, I was nervous to try to launder it, but I was so in love with the dress that I thought I'd give it a try. Per the instructions, I gently hand-washed the dress in cold water, and hung it to dry. Even though the directions say that you can put this in the dryer, I didn't dare! Although the seams and shape appeared to be intact after drying, when I tried it on, I found like a previous reviewer, that the dress had shrunk more than 3 inches in width! It is now skintight, and unwearable. I previously had a loose, roomy fitting medium. Now this dress fits smaller than the size small I had tried on, and looks like a bandage-style dress. I am SO disappointing, as this dress is gorgeous!

I know the dress is 100 percent Rayon, but I didn't expect it to shrink as much as it did. I have other clothes that are made out of Rayon and they haven't shrunk as much as this dress did. After the first wash, in cold water, the dress shrunk about 3 inches in width and about 3 inches in height. It would've been perfect for work, but now I can only wear it for weekend events because of how tight and short it is now.

Great dress...I'm 5 feet 6 inches tall and this is knee length on me...good for any age - I'm over 40. I normally wear around a 14 and I got the L and XL and both fit me so I need to make up my mind which to keep.

After only 1 wash, having followed the washing instructions on the tag, this shirt dress is so out of shape the side seams are a good 6 inches off to the side - instead of going up vertically straight they are sideways! Absolutely horrible horrible quality. I've never had this happened with any other brand/style, expensive or cheap.

This dress is adorable. I'm not sure why so many reviewers say that it is sheer, maybe a bunch of stores got a bad batch of dresses. I can easily wear this dress without any kind of slip, I've held up the dress to light and it's just a little sheer, Idk I find the dress to be pretty opaque compared to the way it is described by other reviewers. The sizing is a different story, it seems like all the apparel at Target runs really large so being at 5'6 118-120 lbs, I have to always go with the sma llest option which is usually a xsmall or size 2. This dress is a little loose on me in the size xsmall but I think that is the style of this dress and I think it's cute this way, I will just belt it. Good Job Jason Wu, I am loving this collection.

I wanted to like this dress, but as with about half the other Jason Wu items I ordered, I had to return it. Not only is it WAY oversized, it is all quite sheer. You'd really need to wear a full slip with this dress, which wrecks the point of a tee shirt dress. Had they made it out of a heavier jersey, it might be OK.

This dress is very cute. I wore mine with navy blue tights and black low cut boots the other day but it will look equally as great with no leggings when it warms up a bit more. To those who say the material is thin, well it's a t-shirt dress, and a really soft one at that, anyway to them I say...be a young lady and wear a slip under it, this way you can preserve your modesty.

I'm 5'3, 140 lbs, 36B. I ordered this in Medium and Large. I was swimming in the Large. The Medium fit better, though a little loose in the tummy. Not sure if Small would be better. The material is thin so I'll wear a slip underneath. The dress hits right above the knee. Cute casual dress for a put together look without a lot of effort.
