This is a beautiful dress! The online photo does not do this dress justice. There are teal colored wheel dots along with the yellow, which would make it perfect for a graduation party or wedding. I ordered it in a siz ... see more

Vintage look

What I love about this dress is that it looks so vintage -- it could have come straight from the 50s via time machine. With some funky pumps and clunky bracelets it could be a real statement. I'm not sure I'm going to keep it, though. I knew I'd have to have it taken in on the top, which is normal for my pear shape, but I keep thinking it might look better with other improvements, too, like chopping off the frilly sleeves and maybe removing the tucks on the waist. That's probably not a good si gn. The conversational print, while adorable, also might be too fussy for me as I'm 5'9". I swear, I've been showing this to people and asking, "What should I do?" and they can't decide, either. [...] the dress does not hit me at mid-thigh. It hits right above the knees.

I tried this dress on in the store and it was just awful. It looked like a costume for the role of a very religious teenager in the 60's. I have a 34-24-36 figure and my curves simply disappeared in this dress. My boyfriend was in the dressing room with me and although he doesn't usually care what I pick out, I could tell he HATED the dress. Ladies, if you love your curves.. Stay away.

[...] My husband was able to get to Target and managed to find this dress, which I wanted [...]. He purchased a 10,smallest he could find and i'm usually a 6 or 8. It fits fine at the waist, bust and length. It is fully lined and is soft. But it's so cheap looking, looks so bad even my husband agreed it has to go back. I wear dresses probably 4 days a week so I really wanted to like this. The pearls sewed on in a double row at the high neckline do nothing for this dress. They are yellowish and j ust look horrible. There are 2 pleats going down from the waist in front and in back and my flat stomach looks pregnant and on the rear they look just as bad, who needs that? It is a very old looking design.Gold and turquoise wheels on white,it just looks dated. Sorry I bought this! [...] this dress is not for me. 2 stars because it's made well.

I am so so so thrilled I went to a Target and found this one lone dress. I walked past it, not too impressed with how it looked but found myself wandering back and taking a second look. After trying it on, I feel in love! Like some other reviewers mentioned, the picture of this dress online does not do it justice. The wheels are a beautiful yellow and light blue which just pop against the white. The top is a little on the bigger side, perfect for ladies with a chest. I'm not the biggest fan of the pearls either, also contemplating cutting them off as I feel it would make the dress more wearable. It's a great dress and definitely worth the price! So happy I got this!

I didn't think much of this dress at first, but I found the right size one day and decided to try it on. It's pretty- I love the print, the sleeves are cute, and the cut is really flattering and easy to move in. I do wish it was just a little more tailored through the bottom to fit just a little more snugly, like a '40s style wiggle dress, but that's something I can always get done later with a tailor. I'm also not such a fan of the pearls- I may cut them off.

This Dress is the Gem of the Jason Wu Collection. Online the pictures do not do any justice for this dress. This dress runs true to size, the colors are so soft & feminine in person yet at the same time are definitely more vibrant in person then online. I love the pearl detailing at the top, you don't need any additional jewelry except for some earrings and then your good to go. This dress is a keeper in my closet. I am so happy I found this one in the store.

This is by far one of the best pieces in the line. Saw it online and didn't like it, but decided to purchase it. Couldn't be happier! The colors are more vibrant in person. It's lined, which is great so you don't need a cami or slip. It feels really nice and a great length at mid-thigh. Love the pearl detailing, adds so much interest to the dress. Great buy!

This dress is so much prettier in person. The pearls on the collar gives the dress an elegant style. The fit and length is again perfect. The dress is fully lined. You would not get a dress lined for this price! I am liking Jason Wu's line with each dress I get delivered!

didn't work for me, but maybe for you

It's a cute dress, but it doesn't really work for tall boyish figures. Because of the darts or something the front was baggy on me even though the waist fits snugly. Also, it's a little too short for me to wear for work - I'm 5'10". I measured from the shoulder, and the size 2 is 37 inches long. I wish Target would put the actual measurements on their website! I would say it runs true to size, [..] If you're not super tall or flat chested the dress might look nice on you, it just didn't work for me.

Got my dress today not from UPS but in the mail! I am petite 5'2 125# and I'd say it's a perfect fit. I usually wear a 4-6 and because I had NO IDEA what the fit would be I got a 6. It does fit loosely in the bust area but one review says that's the style!! I hope so. It hits just above the knee and may need to be hemmed just a slight bit. It also DEFINITELY needs a belt! The qualilty is good and I love the turquoise/gold wheels and the double row of pearls around the neck is beautiful! [ ...]
