Jason Wu for Target® Sleeveless Pleated Shift Dress in Blush Stripes with Black Belt product details page

Not sure if mine was defective, but I tried this in an XL and I'm normally a 14. It was very tight on me, while some XL's in this collection are huge. The colors also looked awful on me. I'm a blonde, maybe the colors work better on brunettes.

When I finaly made it to the store most of the collection was sold out so I had to settle and try on whatever was left. I didn't think this dress was going to look good on me as I am in my 40s, curvy and a bit overweight but I tried it on anyway and to my surprise it not only fit well but it is also very slimming. Seriously ladies... when and where can you find affordable designer clothes... I am very pleased with my purchase and these dresses look so good on me that I will spend a few more do llars and buy myself a full slip to wear with my beautiful dresses. I also bought a slim black belt to wear with the dress because the original belt was missing. Thank you Jason Wu for creating beautiful clothes for the average woman.

The material is a unique crepe-like fabric and I really liked it, but the fit was a bit too large for me and the arm holes were too big. Had bought an XS and I'm 5'3", 110 lbs. Really pretty, but unfortunately will be returning.

I got this dress in the mail yesterday and I really love it. I expected it to be much shorter because of the reviews, but it's right above my knees. I am 5'3" and got an XS. It might need a slip, but I didn't notice. I wore it with a pair of black tights, and it looked great! I even got compliments from some co-workers!

This dress is really cute, it fits true to size, and the ribbon waistband adds a finishing touch to the design.

Looking at the model photos and stock photo, I didn't think I would like this dress in the least. [...] I'm so glad I did! It's so pretty and very flattering on my curvy frame. I thought the colors would wash me out, but I paired it with black tights and a black cardigan and it's oh so pretty. I do wish it were a bit thicker or lined and a tad longer, but the design is so cute that I'll take it anyway.

Looking at the dress on line I didn't think I would like it. But seeing it in the store it looked 10 times better than it appeared on-line. I purchased the dress, but once I tried it on it wasn't so flattering. It fit about 3 - 4 inches above my knees too short to wear without leggings and the material was too thin. Unfortunately I returned it. I'm sure someone has already snatched it up. Like I said, cute dress...just not for me.

The design is lovely and the color is pale for my tan skin but I think I can work it with accessories. The dress is shapeless and tissue like, very see through which creates a lot of static cling and requires a full slip. The horizontal brown lines don't match across the buttons on most of the dresses, some have over half inch mismatch which makes the dress looks odd. I was lucky to find the last small size that looks right. But it's pretty enough for me to give it a try.

I am tickled about this darling dress! If I hadn't watched the video of Jason Wu's designs I probably would have passed since online the dress looks like a short shift or tunic and on the hanger it doesn't look like much. But ON it is another story! The fabric is like silk, a slip is a must! The finishings on this dress are lovely and it is so flattering! Wore it to work Monday with the black belt and Ann Taylor black patent pumps and had multiple compliments! Wish Target would plan for more st ock with these special designers since it would make more money for Target and less money for greedy individuals in line grabbing all they could and sell on [...]. Target are you listening? Bought several pieces and would have purchased much more! At my Target in Orange County Ca. all was sold out by 8 am Sunday morning.

This dress is perfect! I do agree with the other posts that the material is very sheer, so a full length slip would me a MUST unless worn with leggings. I am 5'5" and the dress hits at about 2 inches above the knee. It buttons all the way down the front, something I did not realize by looking at it online. I also agree with the other reviews that it looks way better on than on the rack. Once you tie the black sash, it is perfection. I am a little hippy, and usually shirt dresses without f lare do not work for me, but the little belt allowed me to buy a small and make it work. The top would have fit a little better had I got the X-Small, but then the skirt of the dress would not have fit my hips.
