The best products in the set are the correctors, the highlighter, and the dark blue shadow. The rest are pretty unimpressive. There isn't very much pigment in the lip glosses, the bronzer and blushes are unflattering on pale complexions, and most of the shadows are odd neutral shades. This set is helpful in learning how to use correctors but not really worth the price.

I took a test drive due to the black model on the in-store ad wearing bright pink lip gloss, presumably Air Kiss in Sassy? I found a One-Stop-Shop in JKs backstage kit. For fool-proof app, toss the brushes that come with it and use pro brushes;follow the enclosed instructions. Non-greasy yellow and peach concealer did wonders for my undereye darkness, the pink adds a youthful pop at the inside corner. Green is iffy; I can achieve the same effect w/flesh tone. I like to apply the highlighter on top of foundation. Eye primer is genius for setting eyeshadow. Only wish it came in a darker shade. Tip: If your skin is at all oily like mine, apply the eye prime immediately before the shadow or it will crease. The peachy blushes are great for Spring and I was impressed that it looked so natural on my skin tone. Also the finishing powder works on all skin tones and sets the look for a shine free beauty all day. Now, back to Air Kiss in Sassy. Never thought I could achieve a natural looking pink w/o looking too bubble gummy. Only drawback is now I have to buy a tube for on the go;thats not so bad.

Quite the Contrary for me...

I was pleasantly surprised with this palette. I have red hair and fair skin. After I used the highlighter, bronzer for contour, apricot blush, and the eyeshadow and wet/dry shadow...I felt like I had stepped out of a magazine ad. I do not normally wear much makeup, just some concealer day-to-day, along with mascara and chapstick. I was ready for a photo shoot and felt amazing after I did myself up for a holiday party. I was always trying to get that dewy pearlescent look and the highlighter did just that. The price tag is a little high and I was skeptical about the 'kit' style but all-in-all I'm satisfied and will use the [heck] out of this :)

Quite disappointed

I got this palette at my local Target store and the colors looked lovely in the box. But apart from the pink blush and two of the shimmery brown eye shadows, the colors show up either chalky, muddy, or not at all on my skin. The bronzer and the peachy blush are downright unflattering, the glosses pretty much invisible. [...]
