We had purchased 4 of the 29" stools 6 months ago. Assembly was relatively easy and they functioned for about two weeks. After that, the first stool started to lean. I noticed the factory welds broke which became hazardous! The second stool's chair back brackets broke off causing another incident. I am the heaviest person in our household and I weigh 180lbs. The last two chairs are still technically functioning though the leg extensions wobble to the point of concern. These should be purch ased strictly for show and not for use. We wish they were built a lot better.

Great looking chair on the budget

Before purchasing these chairs, I read the reviews - both positive and negative. Since the reviews differed from each other drastically - decided to buy and make a decision on my own. Assembly was very easy - it took about 15 minutes for the first chair, since I had to look up the instructions, and about 8 minutes for the second - did not have to look at the manual. Just want to note that I am a mom of 4 small children, and not a handyman. The style of the chair is great. Not too bulky, and not too delicate. The color looks great with wood floors due to various shades of brown. I got many complements from the guests - people were actually surprised that these chairs came from Target and cost under [$].

Bought four of these stools, they're nice and feel sturdy at this price. Stylish and comfortable. The fabric on the seats feel like it will last and forgive stains from inevitable spills. I like the swivel too. The first one was kind of pain to put together but got the next three together fairly quick. You have to screw in the bottom part of the legs. Not unusual for stools in this price range but it does mean that the legs aren't perfectly seamless from top to bottom. Honestly it doesn't bothe r me at all. Something I don't notice unless I'm looking for it. They're nicer than the [$] ones Target and other stores sell and worth paying a little extra money for. Overall these are perfect for our new breakfast bar and I would recommend them to a friend!

Good quality. Great price.

I purchased 4 of these for our bar and they look great! If you like to save money and are looking for inexpensive bar stools that are sturdy, look good and are extremely easy to put together... look no further, these are for you!

I will first say this - you get what you pay for. I got three of the 29" stools for my new place. I had planned on getting different ones but was on a budget and thought I'd try these out. I have assembled MANY pieces of furniture before, and these were terrible. In addition to being very cheaply made, I could not get them together without looking like total junk. The bottom leg pieces kept coming out when I tried to screw other ones in. I returned them and bought bar stools from a nother store.

I really like these chairs because they are classy, simply and they don't look as cheap as they cost! They were also extremely easy to assemble and this is coming from someone who normally struggles with [....] instructions. My one and only complaint is that they appear to be less than 29." They literally measure about 27" and we have a 42" breakfast bar (standard height) and they just feel and look too short. We're still deciding if we want to just keep them or try out different 29"/30" standard bar height stools that claim to be as such. Good luck!
