Another family member has a more expensive brand chair. I studied up and bought this one. We have been using it for more than a year and are very satisfied with it's durability and solidness. We didn't purchase the pad or tray as we just pull it up to the table with us. Everyone is happy. The finish is holding up well. I am about ready to order another one for our youngest.
