Keurig Mini Brewer - Platinum product details page

I rarely drink coffee. I have never owned a coffee maker before. I sometimes get iced coffee from [...} and recently started getting the pumpkin spice lattes. But at [$] bucks each, I just didn't think it was worth it. Then I saw this mini brewer in an ad book for another store. I love anything mini! So thats initially what attracted me to this...goofy, I know. Target had the best price/discount. I have had it for a few days now and love it. Even tried using a pumpkin spice ground coffee I boug ht with the reusable filter, in addition to the k-cups. Overall I love it. Looks great, works great so far. And for my limited coffee experience, this works for me. I am sure if I get more into coffee I may want something a little more refined. But the convenience and size is perfect for me at this point.

This is the 'mini' brewer-not to be confused with the full-size Keurig's that are being sold for double this price. I think it's great for any single person or if only 1 person in the house drinks coffee. My husband actually does drink coffee but he leaves so early in the morning that he always gets his coffee at 711. I on the other hand have a full pot to drink down and usually do over 2-3 days. I was so tired of drinking old coffee and this has solved the problem. The Keurig brews a fresh cup every morning for me and it really does taste fresh! I do wish I had a purchased a bigger one as this one does not have a water tank that can keep more than 10 oz. of water in it, so if I do want another cup I have to pour more water in, no biggie-but just an extra step I would like to avoid if I'm in a hurry. I love Emeril's Vanilla coffee or The Caribou Day break, those 2 have been a great morning starter. During the week I breakout the old 12 cupper still so me and hubby can drink at a larger scale.

I've owned the first couple of Keurigs ever on the market - one even before they were available in the U.S. (I have a good friend who's an engineer for the company) - and they were amazing in ability, user friendliness, and in how they were built, as well, of course, with what great coffee they made! This unit makes coffee just as well, is easy to use, and looks cheap. The materials used to make this particular machine are quite different than the first couple of rounds of the high end machines . I cant speak for the higher end Keurigs units, and like I said, the coffee's still great (at least, it is 2 weeks in), but the materials are cheap.

I thought I loved my crock-pot, but it has NOTHING on my KEURIG single serve coffe maker. This is the BEST thing invented for people who are coffee lovers. I am the only coffee person in my house so brewing a full pot is a waste. Who wants coffee after it has sat for more than 20-30 mimutes? This machine offers you fresh coffee at every serving. With a variety of flavors you can take your pick at any time of the day. Also, since I am the mother of a 6 month old, I can get a cup of coffee in 2 m inutes, and relax while he is napping. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this machine.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. She drinks coffee, and her fiance' doesn't, so brewing one cup at a time is perfect. The size of this mini is just perfect in their small apartment kitchen, too! The platinum version is very classy and elegant and is definitely not an eyesore! LOL She loves all the varieties of coffee and tea to choose from and with the re-usable filter can always use her own blends, too!Ordering online from Target.com was so simple and quick! [...]

Hi there! It's just me in my apartment, sometimes a visitor. This is great for single serving coffee. It's fast and quiet. The pods are a bit expensive. I bought the filter. I just tried that for the first time and the coffee is delicious. This unit doesn't have bells and whistles. It's not programmable. It doesn't have a multi cup reservoir. I don't need any of that.
