This blender is amazing... I registered for it for my wedding and was so excited when I got it!!! By far the strongest blender I've ever owned. Not only that but this blender isn't lite weight... its heavy and I know it will last a long time like all the rest of my KitchenAid products!!! I got the orange and it's beautiful, just the punch of color I needed with all my fiestaware china!!!

We have had our Kitchen Aid blender for a just a short time but really love it. It makes wonderful smoothies, and we're looking forward to using it for blending soups when the weather gets cooler. The ice crushing mode works well, too. There are just two parts to wash--the pitcher and the lid, making it a breeze to clean up! This is a nice-looking, powerful blender, and we are pleased to recommend it to others.

This is a top notch blender for smoothies. Both my husband and I drink protein shakes for breakfast, and this is the best for blending up ice and frozen fruit. Love it!

I use a blender 5-6x/week making smoothies with ice cream, ice, protein powder and this blends it all up very nicely. The color doesn't match exactly the photo, it's a duller red than pictured but I still like it.

This blender can take anything you throw at it. It's lightweight and durable and the polycarbonate pitcher is perfect for children. No more dropping the glass blender and breaking it. Lots of different blending options and a good warrenty. Plus, if you buy it in pink, a portion of the proceeds go to the development of breast cancer research and that's something everyone can enjoy!

After having an Oster and Hamilton Beach blender (about half the cost of this one) buckle under the pressure of partially frozen fruit I decided it was time for me to cough up a little extra money and see if it truly mattered. So glad I did, this blender pulverizes even the huge, sad immitation of ice cubes my fridge puts out into purely driven snow.I also didn't thaw out a whole frozen strawberry very much - not something I'd recommend, mind you - but this blender knocked that out, too. It is a bit loud but I don't think there's a way to really do the job you want it to and get it done very quietly. Maybe if you want to spend double or triple the money but[....] for a blender was as about far as this girl wanted to go.I was wary at first because some reviews complain about the bottom leaking but after looking around on other sites into that complaint I found that it was indeed a design flaw of an earlier model and has been rectified for this blender.

We ordered this blender after purchasing and returning another, more expensive brand from another source. This blender is easy to clean, makes great smoothies, margaritas, etc. and is not as heavy due to the plastic pitcher. I had originally wanted glass, but this heavy-duty plastic is quite satisfactory.
