Santa came early this year and finally brought me a Classic KitchenAid mixer! Could it be he wants some homemade cookies? This mixer is easy to use and mixes up a batch of cookie dough in no time. I wish the pouring shield was included but it's nice that they do offer other attachments you can purchase if needed. Love the tilt motor head for removing the bowl- very easy to do. Includes the dough hook for making bread and wire whip. It is not a hand mixer so it is heavy but I like that as it's s turdy, beefy and has a good motor. The manual is very detailed and should be read before using this mixer, to use it correctly and keep it in good working order. One year warranty from the date of purchase and KitchenAid offers hassle free replacement- unless of course you do something stupid! Perfect mixer for me- a mom who makes cookies, cakes and breads.

I have always loved the Kitchen Aid mixer! As a mother of four I have used minefor years and years! This one I bought is especially meaningful because it isgoing to my daughter who is soon to be married and I know it will be useful formany years to come. I appreciate Targets promptness in getting it to me safelyand quickly. It is just one thing I don't have to get stressed over as the "BIG"day approaches. Thanks Target and KitchenAid for making my life easier!

Don't mess with a classic. No need to spend money on the expensive models when this does all your basic needs just perfectly

I purchased this as a gift for my girlfriend who loves to bake but was tired of using her hand mixer. It's a big step up and she absolutely loves it. Easy to use and it really helps out with the heavier mixes like fondant and dough. All the attachments are extremely useful and she can't wait to get more add-ons. If you're interested in a great mixer at a low price, look no further. Like I said in the title, "Awesome Buy"

I was comparing Kitchen Aid Stand Mixers on many sites on the internet. I wanted to get one for my daughter for Christmas. I found exactly what I was looking for on the Target website. How easy can shopping get? I ordered the stand mixer and received it a few days later. I walk with a cane and I don't know how I would have carried that heavy box to my car, into my house, and maneuvered it into the room. It was so easy with Target. They shipped it out completely wrapped as a gift (I ordered gift wrapping) - [...] I love shopping at my local target and now will utilize the internet more too. Great Gift !!! Great way to shop !!!! I have enjoyed using the Kitchenaid mixer for over 20 years. I bought this model for my daughter, who will be married this January. There is an amazing difference using a Kitchenaid over hand-held types. It is sturdy and works quickly. I have had my other model repaired only twice in 20 years. The repair was simple, quick and inexpensive. I would recommend Kitchenaid mixers to anyone.

The product is really good. The only bad parts are there is a small space the mixer doesn't reach in the bottom of the bowl and there is no pouring shield included with the product. So it can be difficult to pour certain things into the mix. It is a little heavy to lift so pick a spot on the countertop and leave it there. However the speeds are all spaced nicely. It's very nice to be able to walk away from the mix to prep something else or let it sit there and mix without having to hold the bow l and mixer.

This is the best stand mixer I have ever bought. I use it more than I have ever used a mixer before.The price was steep for me but I bought it while it was on sale and it is worth every dollar. I told my huband this was a gift from him for Easter,Mothers Day and Our Anniversary!! I plan on getting more use out of it this holiday season, which makes my family happy. If you have been putting off buying a stand mixer then now is the time and this is the one for you!!

My mom has had her Harvest Gold KitchenAid since 1972! I grew up using it and LOVE-LOVE-LOVE it! I am finally going to get MY OWN! It's worth every penny! You can't go wrong with this GEM! tc~: )

I just bought this mixer a few hours ago because I am taking a cake decorating class and needed to make icing. It worked to mix the icing, then I turned it off and it will not turn back on! I will return it and just buy a $... hand mixer - I have owned 2 of those and have never had this happen.
