I am a black woman - a with a warm complexion with combination acne prone skin. I have used the luxury lines, department store lines and the drug store lines. I am absolutely pleased with L"Oreal foundation products: True Match "system". I have deemed it "The System" because if it's done right, it works brilliantly. I finally completed my system with the primer Studio Secrets No. 2, it has tint and I like that because of my darker skin. A little bit goes a long way and the price is wonderful. It gives me the coverage I need and evens out my blemishes. As far the economical sense goes, my concealer and foundation supply lasts a lot longer.

One of my sister's actually got me to try this....her skin isn't as clear as mine but when she put this on, it was like magic - she hardly had to use any foundation because it made her skin look flawless - I figured I'd try it - and I have quit using foundation because this is enough to make my skin look great. I doubt I'll purchase this again honestly.After I apply my moisturizer I usually apply this next and then my liquid foundation.It looks terrible afterwards.I suppose if I didn't use moisturizer it wouldn't look so bad.All in all it's a decent primer but not for me.

I have oily skin and wanted something to reduce the shine. This works very well in doing so on initial make up application but when I reapply my make up during the day over top of the primer and existing make up, the make up can tend to look "thick" and cakey. It seems to have also dried out my skin a little. I still like this product and will continue to use it but may have to experiment on amount to use. I only use it in my T zone. It also is very silky feelling so it allows your ma ke up to slide on smoothly.

This primer is amazing. It goes on smooth and doesn't leave an oily residue or anything on my face. It also does not have a lingering smell like some makeup or moisturizers do. It just leaves your skin even and velvety soft. I started to wear mineral makeup and found that it looks especially flawless when you start with this primer. I have tried other primers before and found that this was the best for my oily and acne prone skin. It doesn't make me break out or irritate my skin at all. The val ue for this product is worth every penny, and this primer is also one of the more economical that I have found. I would recomend this product to anyone who wants to have flawless looking skin and as a good starting point when putting on makeup.

I LOVE this product! I'd never used a primer before, but now I use it every day, with or without make up. I have very oily skin, and while this primer doesn't get rid of the oil completely, it definitely helps. It also helps reduce the look of pores. I feel like my skin looks 5 years younger, instantly. :)

I used to use the bare minerals primer and really liked it but due to not being able to find it in a store near me made me stop using it so I had to hunt to find a new base which I loved. Well, I found it! This primer is beyond amazing. They say it's not recommended for oily/acne prone skin, both of which I have, but I've never had a problem. However, I do pair it with neutrogena foundation so maybe that makes the difference. Hands down I will never use another primer unless they discontinue th is product, which seems to happen with every make-up product I start to like.

This product is very think but it covers your pores well! It's a lot better than "high end" foundations. Loreal and Lancome are owned by the same company so I expected a high end quality and I got it. The only reason I did not give it four stars was because I'm not a big fan of the packaging, dipping your fingers in it a lot just doesn't make very much sense to me. (This product is cheaper at [store name]).

i was skeptical paying this price for such a small amount, but it has really gone a long way. it makes your skin so incredibly soft and really works as a great primer for foundation.

This product eliminates shines in t-zone and other problem areas. I have combination skin and always had problems with t-zone, but now I am worry free. This also evens out your skin tone so your skin will look smoother even before you put on your foundation. I highly recommend it.
