I purchased one of these heaters new [elsewhere] about 2 years ago. There is a serious problem with the thermostat. It will not shut off when it reaches the desired temp. If you're going to get a portable, thermostatically controlled space heater, I strongly recommend a Dial thermostat as opposed to a digital. Also; the heater plug melted my wall outlet so it is now plugged into a fire protected surge protector; I don't care what they say. They tell you not to do that but I'd rather the heater burn up than my house!! Never again!! Next time I will purchase a [different brand heater].

The digital display makes it easy to use, & doesn't take long to take the chill out of the room, & it's style is modern looking, for any decor. Found this item at Target on line, price, & service was great, couldn't ask for any thing better, thank you, Target, Jack Simkins
