After researching many many MP3 players I chose the Latte Espresso 16GB, This is my 3 attempted to buy a MP3 player that I can use in my 16 year old car, with FM / Cassette stereo. finally this one seems to be working great, but time will tell. It took some time to learn how to control the unit and install files on to it. Now my Miata is in the moderen age, with out buying a new expensive car stereo to have sitting in a convertiable. I set the unit in a Body Glove Smart Phone case and then have that sitting in one of the cupholders. From there it is easy to view and to operate. Then when I park it, the unit comes with me. This beats a Ipod for cost not to mention I can upload different music files and they play... Also I did not need to buy another device to have it communicate with the Stereo.. just set the FM frequency and then tune the car Stereo and it plays. It only has one drawback, I just wish it was able to charge and function at the same time. The battery life seems to be a bit short. If your looking for something to use mainly for your outdate car stereo this works GREAT !!!

the latte espresso is a great mp3 player its got everything u would want in a mp3 player great sound quility and great picture quility overall this is the best mp3 player on the market highly recommened

The only issue I have with this item is that the scroll bar is complicated to use when i'm going through my lists of songs. So I have to hit the next button & go through my entire playlist to get to a song. Storage is great and playback is great. Also audio and video playback as well as picture playback is great. It also plays incredibly loud which I enjoy!

This MP3 player was purchased for a Christmas gift and of course, it stopped working properly 1 week after the 90 days to return it to the store. Music and picture files are mysteriousy disappearing and once a song has played, it will not forward to another song. Have been attempting to contact the manufacturer, but have gotten no response at all from them. A toll-free number for them, that I had been given to call, has been disconnected. Spend your money on something more reliable.

I first saw this and read the reviews and said, "wow, this is to good to be true." and it was. one of the worst purchases i've ever made. the screen doesn't always sense your touch, it only gets it right 80% of the time. second, it's very easy to scratch and dent. I accidently bumped it against my dresser and it crushed the corner on the mp3. the top section that goes over to keep the screen on started to become loose, and is sliding back and forth. I'm afraid it's going to just pop o ff and my mp3 is going to be useless. another problem is that it is slow sometimes. i click on album or music and it takes a while to load it. i finally figured out how to put movies on it, (because it doesn't tell you in the instruction manual.) and the videos sometimes just stop and turn off. if you try viewing pictures it's really slow and i've had to reset or shut-off because it would freeze and get stuck. i wish i could give it a 0 star review, but the lowest it lets me go is 1. word of advice, save your money and get something that works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gave this mp3 player as a gift to my fiance and he loved it! It is smaller than the I-pod touch and had a masculine look that he loved. The product works great and requires no cords or devices to play in your car. Just find a clear radio station on your car radio, plug in the earphones to act as antennas and it plays your music perfectly out of your car speakers. The earphones that come with it have a better sound than my expensive I-pod earphones. I was even able to put all of my I-tunes on to this mp3 player for him with no problem.The only flaws with this device is that you can't separate your music by genre and that the scroll bar can sometimes be a pain because it is a little too thin but these are really minor issues. Overall, the product is great and I would not mind trading in my I-pod for one of these.

I purchased this item for my daughter in December of 2009 for Christmas. My daughter was so happy with it. She took very good care of it because we were on a tight budget. The touch screen stopped working in May of 2010. The manufacturer's waranty is one year. I am now going to attempt to return it. Well see how it goes.

horrible!!!!The first day i had the product i tried to charge it it never held the charge. i finally got it to charge and the then the g sensor did not work right. whenever you turn it to show the screen in portrait it shows it in landscape and landscape in portrait.second latte product in 1 month very unsatisfied.service is horrible and will not do anything to help you out with the product.

First of all, the Espresso does NOT have a microSD slot. The tech specs listed here are incorrect. On the plus side, this is the only player I know of that take full use of the G-sensor, with almost every menu and app capable of being used in landscape or portrait. Codec support is excellent. The case is beautiful with a brushed texture and doesn't show fingerprints. The touchscreen is sensitive, but may need calibration initially. You also get haptic (vibration) feedback if you want. Negatives ? No microSD slot. Despite that, both the 8gb and 16gb versions are a great value for the price.
