The closure is kinda funky but it's cool. I love this necklace! Goes great with casual dresses, work blouses, t-shirts, anything! I want it in more colors now!

I love this necklace, and had been looking for a red beaded necklace just like it for a long time! I think the clasp works great, and even though it hangs kind of low I just loop the back together a couple of times to make it shorter. I gave it four stars because it is a lot duller of a red than the vibrant red in the photo, more like a red-orange. It works perfect for the tribal prints that are in season, and with some of the St. Bart's dresses that Target has in stores right now!

I actually purchased the same necklace about 4 years ago and after wearing it so many times the cloth clasp broke. I am sooooo happy to have a new one. I will agree with the other reviewers that it is ORANGE and NOT RED! Goes fantastically with all of my summer dresses :)

I gave the necklace 4 stars because of the crochet clasp. It makes the necklace look cheaper, but if you have long hair you won't see it. However, the beaded portion of the necklace is quite nice. I havent experienced the problem with the back clasp that the other reviewers mentioned.

The button closure on my necklace is very sturdy, and looks to be more reliable than some other necklaces I've purchased. The only problem I encountered was that the necklace was more of a TOMATO red than the bright red in the picture. Overall, I was satisfied.

I am so sad that this necklace isn't durable. I have been looking for a multi-strand red necklace in this shade forever, and $14.99 was such a bargain. Well, as I was putting this on for the first time, I noticed the button was coming loose. This necklace is just poorly designed - the white crocheted string is flimsy and cheap, it stretches easily and is probably on the verge of breaking after wearing it for a short period of time, due to the weight of the beads. I quickly put it back on the st and and did not buy it, because it would probably completely break off after a couple wears.

If i could have given this zero stars i would have. the minute i went to put this necklace on for the first time, the button closure fell right off (and since i was standing over my bathroom sink at the time, the button went down the drain). it really wasnt secured on there very well at all. plus the necklace is really heavy. don't waste your money on this.

I purchased this necklace to have a a fabulous accessory. And I do get compliments on it, and it is nice. The clasp is crocheted rope, and the strands have not broken-overall well made. However, just a side note, it is very heavy on your neck-and for those of you who are "winters" like me, the beads are less red/red and a little more redf/orange. Just something to keep in mind.
