I was also disappointed by the small size, although in retrospect the dimensions are given...it would be nicer if it were larger. Also it boasts 30+ peices, but those parts are not organs or anatomical structures they simply make this toy a puzzle. I purchased them for a class at a school, but found they are too impractical because of the small size and useless peices (that I had to glue together to get to stick).

looking at the picture, you would think this was a medium scale anatomy model. Not the case - it's barely the size of my hand - let alone the pieces are extremely small as well. I was very disappointed because my son is really into anatomy right now - and I thought this would be the perfect hands on learning toy. Returning it =/
