Just got these jeans - I love them right out of the bag. I am 22 weeks along with my 2nd and am currently carrying pretty much all weight gain in the belly. I ordered a 12L and I would say it's the perfect length for me at 5'9". The cut is very flattering for the pregnant body. The flare is gentle and not too extreme. On me they are just right for a short heel or flats. And they stay up on my hips! I love the panel material!! Stretchy yet supportive and grip enough to stay up! These are more of a trouser denim - so they are lighter weight, but I have found that to generally be the case with maternity clothes. They have more stretch typically and they are not made as well as your non-maternity wear since they are meant to be short term. I found this true at Gap, Motherhood, Pea in the Pod, and elsewhere, so Target is, well, pretty much right on target with these.

I am in my second trimester and got these jeans a size up from what i normally wear because i know i am still growing. Wore them the next day within a few hours the seams started to unravel at the knee. They look nice on, but are made from a very flimsy cotton dyed to look like jeans, not the standard weight denim. Upon closer inspection, all of the seams are single stitched, which is not strong enough for any weight denim. They are awaist of money and going back to the store, today!

I loved these jeans when I was pregnant. Very stylish, very comfortable and affordable. They were great to dress up and you could also dress them down with a sweatshirt and tennis shoes. If you aren't very far along the high waistband does seem like a pain. But the bigger my belly got the more and more I liked having the waistband up over the big belly. I had some maternity jeans with just the elastic and couldn't wear those the last month or two because they always felt like they were fall ing down. These jeans are great & I fully intend to buy another pair when we decide to have baby #2!
