I bought this bike to get me back and forth to my law school, which is less than a mile from my house. The fifth day I was riding it, my left pedal fell off while I was crossing the street and I almost crashed. Please do not buy this bike! I am filing consumer safety complaints, as it seems like the left pedal is a wide-spread problem with this bike. My husband tried returning the bike and was told by the manager he couldn't, as the bike isn't NEW...we purchased it less than 2 weeks ago. I will not ride this bike anymore and would not recommend it to anyone. I will never buy another bike from Target either.

DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE! I purchased this bike for my girlfriend and built it myself so it would be properly assembled. The brakes, they are of poor quality. I had to make many adjustments for them to brake properly, the torsion springs used by the manufacturer don't balance each other, one pulls more on the other. The pedal design is flawed and dangerous, to install the pedal you have to turn it counterclockwise and while ride it, you pedal and it turns clockwise. Its like screwing in a light bu lb and thru the normal course of operation it is designed to purposely unscrew! All tools required for assembly are in metric units FYI and one pedal had grips to have a thin vice grip be able to torque it and the other pedal was smooth and required an adjustable wrench. Her pedal fell off the first time she rode it! The gears are also awful and after riding it 4 times, the chain fell off once, the chain jammed and locked the crank and rear tire! [..]

I am very mechanically inclined and decided to buy this bike because my wife liked it. I could tell in the store that is was not a quality bike, not even close, but it was cheap so I figured I could do a little magic and make it "ok". WRONG. I think the scariest thing about the bike are the brakes. They barely slow it down let alone stop it. I really thought they just needed to be adjusted, nope. They're just too cheap to be any good. [...] Mine will be returned ASAP.

I had the pink/silver version of this bike. Worst bike I've ever been on. The seat is super uncomfortable. I rode it just once for about a mile when the gears started grinding, then the tension piece broke and the chain fell off. Had to talk to a manager to get a refund due to the return policy. (90 days with receipt in NEW and UNUSED condition.) I guess you're supposed to ride it around the store first to decide if it's good quality and you like it?

do not buy! i've had it for less than a month and already my brake is broken and the handle bars are twisted up. you know, the part that you squeeze to brake is supposed to be beneath the handle but mine is above it! which makes it extremely hard to brake! check these things out before you buy!

DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE!I took this bike for it's very first ride and found out that it didn't work well at all. The bike has a poor gear system. It is very difficult to get the bike to shift gears if you can at all. The grip on the handle bars slips off. The brakes do very little to slow the bike, good luck stopping! [...]

I've been riding this bike for about 5 months now. The sales associate at Target was terrific and very, very helpful and informative about all the bikes I was interested in, but I proceeded with this bike just the same. Was very happy with it and enjoyed it at least 3 times a week. The brakes worked great- pretty fast for a mountain bike; comfy seat and handlebars-but heavy and since I'm only abt. 5'3" in height, the handle bars didn't really go low enough for me. Other then that, I loved it- until while on a two mile ride the crank assembly & pedal, wheel became loose- barely got home! I've had problems with it ever since and on the very last ride the crank assembly and pedals came completely out while pedaling. I did love this bike, how it handled and if you are someone who loves high maintainence, [fix n repair daily], then you will adore this bike! Me personaly, I am attempting to fix this bike for good, to keep it for now, but will be looking for a different one ASAP! I would recommend that you think twice before purchasing it [hind sight being 20/20 and all].
