I bought this game to find a twist on the original but it lacked the same amusements as the original. The biggest downside is the lack of definitions. I played with 10 friends and we were all let down. What a waste I know I can't get them to play again.

Super fun! A great twist on the original.

[...] This is a great twist on the original with the worst card, as selected by the judge, getting a lighthearted punishment from the sour apple spinner. The double sided cards are not confusing. You still use green cards when you are the judge and red cards when you are not [...] This was a Christmas gift and the whole family enjoyed it. Some highlights include updated references in the cards and the elimination of passing, which always resulted in that one junk hand with no good cards bein g passed around by the end of the game. I can't recommend this enough, if you are a fan of the original you will love this one. The only reason I took off one star for quality is I could see the green apple spinner eventually not working very well. Buy with confidence--a great time will be had by all.

Our family just LOVES Apples to Apples, and between us we have three sets of cards already. So I jumped at the chance to get a new twist on the game, but this was awful. The double-ended cards were just confusing, even for seasoned players, and the "Sour" part of it was ridiculous - and meaningless if you only have three players. Don't buy it!
