Some of the color palettes, I can go heavy on, whereas others, like the greens and blues, not so much because I'm a fair skinned Indian girl [...]. My skin color is more yellow than brown and my eyes are a DARK brown. So I only put on a light coat of the blue and green. In fact, I have the green one on right now and I love it (strangely enough, so does my mom). The key with eye-shadow is always about using the right amount and blending! You also need to keep the shape of your eyes in mind. You can find several tricks and tips for your specific eye shape on the web if you just do some research!On the whole...this eye-shadow series is fantastic! AND I HAVE TRIED using this dry as well as wet (which is an alternate way that this product is designed to be used). The wet look is not appropriate for the work place, however it would kick major [...] at ANY PARTY!!! :)Hope this helps!!!

This person obviously doesn't realize that ads are done by PROFESSIONAL make-up artists! So most likely no one will be able to look the same in the ad. This eyeshadow is great!

The models pictures in the ads for this product are a pack of lies! I bought this hoping I could recreate the look the model had but no matter what I did or how much/often I tried I not only couldn't do that but I couldn't even make it look good at all!!! It's very unflattering even though it says it's for blue eyes it looks terrible! The blue in it seems to complete with blue eyes too! The only use I've found for it was the shiny white shadow & the teal blue one those 2 at least look alrig ht, the white one is great by itself I would buy it but in this set it's a waste of money! The black one sparkles like diamonds and I admit the look of it was large factor in why I bought it. I thought 'If it looks this great in the package & amazing on the model in the ads it's got to look good on me too!' Right? Wrong! The black looks the worst when worn! The dark blue is pretty but overwhelms your eyes completely! Over all a waste of money! I recommend finding a different eye palette to spend your hard earned dollars on!
