My very first pump was a Playtex pump. On the Playtex I was getting up to ten ounces per breast per pump, but it was taking an hour for each breast. So when my son turned 12 weeks and I knew that I had to go back to work ...

Worked well while it worked. After 7 months of use, it stopped working and left me engorged since I was only pumping. For the price I'm very disappointed. I never dropped it and didn't travel with it so I don't know why it had such a short life.
Very easy to use. I wish the bag was a little bigger, it doesn't hold much more than what it comes with. Would be nice to be able to pack reading material, extra bottles, etc.
I had my kids 9 years apart, but both times I have bought a Medela Pump In Style. I was so impressed the first time, that I would settle for nothing less the 2nd time around. They have added a few new features since the first one I bought, like the button to switch between let down mode and regular mode, which I thought I would never use, but surprisingly, I have. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and have recommended to all my mommy friends!
This is the best pump on the market. I like the convenient backpack style. They include a cooler and cool pack as well as all the bottles, tubing, and accessories needed. Worth spending the extra money for the quality product.
The breast pump I purchased seems to be in good working order - easy to use instructions, overall easy to use and easy to clean. Unfortunately an additional pair of shields (24 mm) I purchased do not seem to hold as good of suction as the ones that come with the kit. I would recommend this product to a friend.
I purchased this product after conducting a lot of research on pumps and have to say I am extremely happy so far (son is not quite 2 weeks old). We'll see how it does when I return to work, but thus far it is quiet, comfortable and easy to use. The backpack carrier is extremely handy.
I'm extremely happy with my Medela Pump In Style Advanced (PISA) Backpack. It's not heavy and has lots of storage. I pumped at work for over a year, usually three times per day. I decided to buy two extra sets of the washable pieces because there wasn't a good way to wash my pieces between pumping sessions while at work. I just brought three clean sets and washed them all when I got home. I definitely would not have been able to breastfeed exclusively for six months or continue well past my kid
's first birthday without a robust, convenient pump like this one.
I am not one who usually writes reviews, however being a new Mom I use reviews for everything. I absolutely love this product. I was unable to breastfeed and use this machine exclusively. Very easy to use, I recommend it to anyone needing a breast pump.
This is great pump! Correction, this is an excellent pump! My only problem is that the backpack is not as sturdy as [other] bag. After about four months of use, the stitching on the backpack started to come loose where it attaches to the zipper. I am left with a pump that still works great but a very ragged bag in which to carry it and my accessories. [...]My advice to you is DON'T BUY THE PUMP THAT COMES IN THE BACKPACK CASE. [...] So only three stars...
When picking out a breast pump I read hundreds of reviews on all sorts of brands and types. I settled on this one because nothing else seemed to compare.I don't understand all of the complaints about the noise. It's not that loud to me. Baby boy sleeps right beside me while I pump without stirring. I will say that it has gone down in the amount of milk it is able to pump from me. I'm not sure if that has to do with my milk production or the pump itself...seems to be the pump. At the beginning i
t would pump around five to six ounces but now I'm lucky if I can get one from both breasts. It is very convenient for travel and I still think I made the right choice between other options. I just expect something that costs this much to be flawless...and this certainly is not.
