I get many compliments on how stylish this bag is. I can fit a ton of both business and baby stuff. Only complaint is the straps are skinny, so they dig in a little when the bag is full/heavy.
I bought my bag about 4 years ago and carry it every day to work. I don't have a laptop, but I use it to carry my paperwork and personal items. It has tons of pockets for storage, and the strap is the perfect length to carry on my shoulder (a pet peeve of mine). I always use it for travel. It looks very good for all these years of wear and tear and I get compliments on it all the time.
I've been looking for a "Mom" Bag that doesn't look like a big, ugly "Mom" Bag. Look no further! I can carry all that I need (I have a 6yo & 3yo), but still look pulled together. I can see everything when I open the bag, a testament to the design and numerous pockets on the inside, as well as the bright pink liner. I can also fit my netbook into the padded pocket when I feel like carrying it with me. Granted, I need to take the netbook out of the case, but the padded poc
ket makes the case superfluous anyway.I'm much better organized than I was with my previous bag, plus looking more polished. I love this bag!
Finally, a laptop tote with enough room and compartments for everything I need for a day at the office or a week long business trip. This bag easily fits my laptop, my power cord, and all the paperwork and files I might need to take with me. It also has a separate compartment for pens, business cards, cell phone, etc. Believe it or not, this bag replaced a really expensive bag and I much happier with this one.
I bought this bag probably about 2 or 3 years ago. (at that time the style was a little different, but still pretty much identical in every way) I have probably used it like at least every other day since I bought it and I think it's the most amazing bag. I love this bag. I have a 6 month old, and I was in need of a medium size diaper bag. I was carrying the large Vera Bradley bag, and I have 2 of the much smaller bags but the VB was just too big for what I needed, and the smaller ones just didn't hold enough. I love this bag and carry it every day. Unfortunately my massive laptop and all the other "stuff" I carry (I'm a reporter) have caused the strap to start breaking at the seams. I wouldn't recommend this as a computer bag.
This bag has been GREAT. I love bags and I am constantly on the look out for the perfect one which for me is professional or structured, classic, durable, and most importantly LIGHTWEIGHT. This bag fits the bill. Most of us have a lot of stuff to carry around so even when bags are beautiful, if they weigh more than 2-3 pounds empty, they're going to be backbreakers after you put in a few typical must haves, such as files, papers or magazines, an extra portable laptop, a PDA, some computer perip
herals (mini-mouse, power cord/brick, etc.), and a small digital camera. Maybe that's a lot but it's typical for me, so I needed a bag that would stand up to the challenge. This one does in every way. And because it's microfiber, it's less than a pound empty: perfect. I've had mine for more than a year and it's still in great shape: no fraying or visible wear anywhere. And the divided, contrast interior makes it easy to find items that get away from you inside. I've paid more than three times this for bags that either didn't hold up as well, or weren't as good under daily use, so this is an absolute steal.
