In theory this dress has everything going for it -- a killer color, quality fabric and a gorgeous cut. But there's one thing that makes this dress simply unwearable -- the pockets. They're placed in such an unfortunate position. If you anything larger than a size 4, maybe 6, it's hard to imagine this dress actually flattering you. If you have hips, do yourself a favor and go for something else. This wasn't designed with you in mind, which is why I had to return my own. So disappointing.

Comfy dress. Looks like a tailored boutique dress, I like that the sleeves are dolman and are a bit roomy, makes the dress that much easier to move in all day with my kids. Definately didn't think I looked like I had wings. Got a bunch of colors and wear them often dressed down with leggings and sneakers or lots of jewlery and a sequin cardi for date night w/daddy. Versatile, washs great. I put in machine on handwash cold water and then hung them dry and they are fine. Don't get the bad reviews , this is a great find if you like a bit taller neckline than the typical scoop-neck.

Brought this dress in purple to wear to work...lots of compliments...The style flatters most figures..flatters the waist and tummy..I usually wear xtra large...but the large fit great...hugs my curves perfectly...I strutted all day in this dress!!!! Eventually got the Moss green as well,,,,

I'm 5' 6" and around 130lbs. I ordered a small and while I'm not a huge fan of the neckline the rest of this dress is cute. Especially if you cinch it up with a wide belt at the smallest part of your waist and some boots for Fall. Very comfortable feel with an attractive appearance. I'm very happy with this dress and might just be ordering another color or two!

I have an pear figure and this fits my curves and body perfectly. I really like the style - a bit retro and with pockets! I have washed and thrown in the dryer with absolutely no problems. As I matter of fact, I think I will go buy me another one right now....

I ordered this dress to wear to work. I eventually bought 2 as I received so many compliments. It is flattering, particularly if you have arms or tummy you're not too proud of. The shape emphasizes your waist, and hips, and fits without being too tight. I wear an 8-10 and ordered a medium. The fabric is quality and good for cooler climates. I found the pockets to be quite useful as I often need to carry my cell, office key, and badge to meetings, which keeps my hands free. However, i wouldnt r ecommend the pockets if you're particularly "hippy." Overall, I love it.

This style is revival of 70's style - but they added 2011 style of pleated pockets at hips. Big mistake - pockets gap open and adding pleats in hip area is not flattering. This dress would have been perfect if they stuck to original design of no pockets and more flare. Too tight in hips - the rest fit fine. Loved the fabric and sorry to have to return due to fit.

My husband said I looked like I had on wings. That about sums it up. Great color, but the fit is pretty snug on the bottom.
