My husband got this for me for Christmas 2011 and this still works like a champ! I use it daily. I have stopped wasting money on Starbucks! This makes just as good cappuccinos. It took a little getting used to how to use it, but now it is so simple! It takes me about 10 minutes to make a cappuccino in the morning. It's worth it! NO LEAKS. WHY? BECAUSE I EMPTY THE BOTTOM TRAY BEFORE USING IT. A lot of people have complained that it leaks. Well, the bottom tray fills up with water from the ste am. You have to empty it out every time you use it otherwise you will get water everywhere when it gets too full. Also, take off the rubber cover off the frothing stick immediately. All it does is trap milk inside. After each time I use it, I clean it with a wet paper towel to wipe off the dried milk. Very happy with this product and I would highly recommend it. Great value.

This was a Christmas gift to my husband from my daughter and it has proven to be a big hit - caught a sale on it as well. We use it several times a week and as a result have cut down on trips to the coffee shop. Nice unexpected treat for guests. The quality of the machine and the quality of the espresso are better than expected. It is a treat to be able to get up Saturday morning and have one and then Saturday evening to easily step back into the kitchen and quickly prepare another one.

I started out with the cheaper Mr. Coffee espresso machine but after only a few days, the frothier stopped working. I took it back and "upgraded" to this model. After about 6 months, the frothier stopped working AGAIN! I am pretty disappointed in Mr. Coffee machines and do not plan to purchase one again.

I used this machine a few times and it actually works great. However I was dismayed by the multitude of negative reviews that say the pump breaks after a few months and the warranty is difficult to deal with. I didn't end up keeping it for fear of it not lasting. Too bad, it looks nice and makes a good cup of espresso.

I bought the Mr Coffee Espresso Maker about 6 months ago. It makes a great espresso. It is easy to use and with a little practice you can pull a perfect shot. You don't need to spend [$] for a machine. This is the best value for your money for a pump machine. Do not buy a steam only espresso maker, you will be wasting your money.

Same issue as all the other poor reviews. Water leaks out of the reservoir in huge quantities and floods the counter. Its not user error, I made sure the reservoir was installed properly and was filled between the min and max points, no clogs, proper grind, drip tray empty, etc. The machine worked fine for the first week, but is going back to the store. Either the pump is defective or the reservoir.

This machine is very simple to use and produces great espresso. It is also very easy to clean. TIP: to clean the frother, take the black rubber piece off and run some steam into a glass of water. That seems to keep it running smoothly. CAUTION: Purchase first thing in the morning on a day with at least 2 hours of downtime immediately following purchase. The necessity to create the perfect latte' will overcome you!

The espresso from this machine is as good as it gets. Of course you have to use the machine in the right way which is really not that difficult once you've done it a few times. You just need good coffee (e.g. most Italian brands, Illy being one of the best, or the American brands Groundworks or Urth). And you have to wait till the green light with the clock symbol stops blinking before you make the espresso or steam the milk. That's it!And the most amazing thing: this espresso maker costs only [..]. Some friends of mine have espresso machines which cost several hundred $ and their espresso is not one bit better.So if you're tired of baristas messing up your capucchino, go get it!

We received this as a wedding gift less than 2 years ago. I started to leak about 2 months ago and flooded our kitchen counter. We contacted Mr. Coffee about it and their response was "there is nothing we can do for you". From what I've been told by other Mr. Coffee owners is that they are notorious for leaking...wish I would have known that before I registered for it. We will never own a Mr. Coffee anything again.
