Not as effective as the Boon Squirt

This thing is just terrible and a waste of money! I have a 6 month old who I tried feeding stage 2 carrots. The biggest issue with this product is how poorly the food comes out. Sometimes I had to squeeze really hard which made the food squirt every where! And then other times the I'd only gently squeeze and the food overflowed the spoon! Needless to say there were carrots all over the high chair and my son. Also because the spoon was straight on and there was no bend, feeding was difficult. I'
d had to make sure my son was leaning back in his chair to be able to tilt it to squeeze the food out. The other downfall to this product is how much food was left stuck in the bottle.. I had to tap vigorously upside down, which made the thing drip more food, to get the food outta the bottom, and even then I'd still say there was at least and ounce of food still stuck in there. So I had to resort to opening a second jar of food to make sure my baby had enough to eat. TERRIBLE PRODUCT!
I recently recieved this spoon as a gift and I love it. I am telling all my friends to get one! It makes on the go feedings much easier/less messy! We even have started using it at home. I want to get more! I have seen other brands in stores that require purchase of a specific baby food brand. I like that I can put any babyfood in this spoon. I also love the locking feature for when we are traveling.I did notice that there is a very small amount of food towards the end that is difficult to get
out. What I do is tap it towards the end on a napkin *locked of course* then it seems to be fine.[...] Especially compared to the ease of feedings on the go with our 7 month old compared to before the easy squeezy spoon came into our life. For example: We recently went on a trip to the zoo and our daughter wasn't quite hungry during our lunch break but our toddler was ready to see those animals! So when she started to get hungry mid trail-I was able to feed her while we were traveling through the zoo keeping the impatient toddler happy. Amazing :)
We went looking for a Boon Squirt, but they did not have any in store, so we tried the Munchkin version. Like the previous reviewer said, lint sticks to the silicone squeeze container. Also, when you get to the end of the spoon, you cannot squeeze the food out. The makers of the Boon Squirt allowed for the full contents to be squeezed out, but the Munchkin version makes you waste at least 1/2 oz of food. Two advantages of this product over the Boon version: the cap encloses the whole spoon, not
just the top (which seems more sanitary) and there is a locking mechanism which seems like it keeps the food from leaking out in transit. However, these advantages do not make up for where this spoon lacks in effectiveness.
I have both this and the boon brand one and I prefer this one hands down!!! It has more features than the boon. It doesn't roll away, you can see how much is in it, it clicks/locks closed and has an easy to find cap. I'm buying another one of these and throwing my boon one away! I have six kiddos by the way, so I wished this had been around for the first 4. Way to go Munchkin for taking the boon and making it a zillion times better:)
I saw the [...] online and read all the great reviews, so I was really excited when I saw this spoon in the store (thinking it was the [...], yes my mind was scattered at the time) I got home and realized it looked different, but decided to give it a try anyways. Ahhh.. not that great. First of all EVERYTHING sticks to the "non slip grip" feature of the spoon -the blue part-.. every little piece of dust, or crums, or whatever--it sticks. Second, when you get towards the end it starts
shooting out and squirting everywhere. It is a good idea, and munchkin sure did try, but it was a fail. Buy the [other] and you will be happy!
