I love this kettle. It boils water quickly and has an attractive, sleek design that goes nicely in my kitchen. Pus, the water doesn't have the taste of metal or plastic as in other kettles.

I got this pot for Christmas a year ago and I love it. Stay warm feature is great (dont see it on other kettles) I've been really happy with this product and would highly recommend, I use a long handled brush to clean occasionally, works fine.

ing lip is contoured well to allow for easy, dripless pouring.+ Heating element is hidden.Cons:- Electric cord length would be better if 9" - 12" longer (but should be is sufficient for most locations).- Water level window "lags behind" by a couple seconds when filling the kettle.- Water level window is behind handle, making it a harder to see while filling (but giving the kettle a better look overall).Comments:* Would have preferred 2 liters instead of 1.5.* Would prefer Keep Warm feature to keep water a bit hotter, but probably best it doesn't for safety reasons. It works well enough. However, despite the light on the button, I've forgotten to turn it off overnight a couple times, wasting a few cents of electricity.* Opening for filling with water seems slightly tight due to the filter screen inside, but is large enough so as to not cause a problem with water from the faucet spilling outside.* Makes a water boiling noise inside while boiling water because it's...boiling water! They all do. It lets you know it's working!!* A bell ring after reaching boiling point and shutting off (similar to my previous kettle) would be nice.* Don't know about durability yet, but hopefull will last at least 7 years as did my previous Philips model (with the nice bell)! It failed after electrical contact with base became sporadic.* Overall, the design and function of this Oster ketter is very good and I highly recommend it for standard household use.
I drink a lot of hot water and this kettle makes my life easier. I had a plastic model before and i was tired of having to unplug to fill up and reheat because i stepped away. I'm loving the keep warm feature of this model. good capacity, easy to use.
Having tried five electric kettles in four years, I thought I had found the best so far. However, after a few months, it started to leak. My husband tried to 'plug' the leak several times but to no avail. Looks awesome at first but soon deteriorates. I am now searching for a new kettle.
I love this kettle. I have had it for a month, and it is wonderful! I use it to heat water for tea and instant coffee (when I can't get any real coffee). It looks very sleek, and attractive. The buttons and lights all work fine. It heats up water quickly and very hot. The opening latch works well, and there is ample room to fill it with water. It holds plenty of water for 3-6 servings (I guess it depends on how big your cups are, mine is a large travel mug). The water level indicator works very
