The bottom line is.......you get what you pay for. I didn't like this chair- I am 43yr old female with normal build and average weight. [...............] my 20yr old daughter who is shaped like the model in the pic ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT! I don't know what anyone else who left reviews looks like or if have any medical issues but I do think weight and medical problems will make a difference if you like it or not. [.............]

This ostrich chair works like the photo showing the young lady in the face downward position. Except the pressure of the shin bone on the extended end is uncomfortable. Needs padding there. You can read as she is doing. Before stretching out on the chaise make sure that the three supports that make contact with the ground are fully extended horizontally. Failure to do so can result in your tumbling onto the ground as the chair collapses under you. The face upward position is easier to climb int o. The fully upright chair configuration is okay. I have the chaise fully extended, sitting on my concrete patio, and used for sunbathing. The chair is easy to move around. It's probably more comfortable to lie on if you are under six feet tall.

I bought this chair because I have a neck injury and am unable to sleep on my stomach, as I cannot turn my head to the side without major pain issues. have used it at home and am able to lounge by the pool and tan evenly without severe neck and arm pain to follow. My only issue is that I wish it would be a little longer as my shins tend to get sore after some time and the padding on the bar is minimal at best, but I'm taking it on vacation to the beach next week and am looking forward to coming home with an even tan! Overall I'd recommend this chair to anyone who has a neck injury or has had neck surgery, you can definitely lay on your stomach without pain.

1. The hole for the face is too short. It was cutting across my neck choking me.2. The leg rest is too short. When I laid on my stomach it was cutting across my chins.3. One of the wooden arms arrived cut up to the point when I put my arm on it I got a splinter.

I opened the chair, sat in it and immediately decided it will go back. Although the concept is great the quality of the chair is cheap. The netting used on the overall chair is very thin, the legs are a hollow metal and the cup holder looks like it may collapse when a can is placed in it. It's definitely not worth the price! I typically like to put good reviews on products, but I can't do that in this case. Although the other reviews provide good ratings I unfortunately will have to respectfull y disagree.

This chair is very comfortable and I love the fact that I can finally lay on my stomach to tan without my face being smashed. It's just like a massage chair.

Just what I was looking for!

This is really great! At first it's a little confusing figuring it all out but once you get it it really is a great lounge chair. I love the padded head rest the most! I love to read while I lay in the sun and this chair makes it comfortable to do so. The cup holder is a little cheesy but no big deal.

Loved it.

This chair is great! I just got back from a beach trip with my family, and my mom and I actually fought to sit it in. I'm a little too short for the face and arm placement holes (I'm 5'1''), but it's not uncomfortable, and does not make me think less of the chair. A wonderful buy.

Whoever thought of this is genius! The only thing I would say they could improve is the cup holder. It is made out of pretty cheap material and probably too small for a 12 oz can. Other than that, I love it!
