Despite character reviews, I still didn't expect this lamp to look as high quality as it does! I really love it and the shade is actually nice too. I had planned to replace the shade, but there is no need at all. I have it on an end table in my sitting room and he looks fantastic! Love it!

This is probably one of the cutest lamps I've ever seen! My husband and I bought two of these lamps for our bedroom. One of them had a pretty nasty paint job, so I returned it and reordered another one. It too wasn't perfect, but I'm a perfectionist when it comes to these sort of things. I'm not sure if I'll return it or not. One lamp would probably be enough in our bedroom. I would have given these lamps a perfect 5 if they were painted better.

I am so happy with my owl lamp purchase. It's perched next to my bed on a stack of books, and looks more expensive then it is. It came with a linen-look shade that looks nicer than expected. I had ordered another shade, but now think I may keep it as is. This lamp makes me smile, but it pulls off a serious look, too. Not overly cutesy. Love it!

I am a realist to a fault. Usually, items made from resin and in China, are not the greatest quality which made me hesitate at first to purchase this lamp. Finally after reading the reviews, I decided to go ahead and order it. And decided that if it was less than satisfactory, I would return it.First, the item shipped on Monday and was delivered on Thursday - That was pretty cool. Then I opened it and was very pleasantly surprised! This lamp is great quality, heavy enough not to succumb to the lightest bump, but not heavy enough to require a bodybuilder to lift it. The paint job is beautiful and while the shade is white, when the light is on it is definitely more of a tan color. This was the hit of the office! If you are wondering if you should get this, do it!

I love these owl lamps. I bought two for our bedroom, and they look great! I love that they are unique and different but not tacky or flashy. The only issue I have is that they were packed poorly; the shade was squashed and the styrofoam had completely disintegrated all over the box. The lamps themselves are perfect, though!

I received this as a baby shower present and once I went to put it in my nursery I realized it's missing the part that connects the lamp shade the the actual lamp post. I don't know how I'm going to fix this because I didn't get a gift receipt and I don't have the invoice from it either. Other then that it's very cute and it goes amazing with my Tree Top Critter theme!
