The door is not decorative. Still havent recieved my refund and its been a month!!! It takes two weeks before you get the item. Then you have to wait for ups to pick it up and return it taking another week. Then the refund takes 7 to 10 days be aware!!! If you want it for the door as I did then you dont want to order this.
If you want a plain white door than your good.
My mother needed additional storage space for her new apartment kitchen and this was affordable, good quality and useful without taking up too much space.
The assembly was a bit of a challenge as not all the parts were labeled with their numbers. But all the pieces were there, including the hardware. For the price I think I can't beat this product. It's attractive and sturdy and adds a bit of old world charm to our dining room.
This cabinet was as described except for the door - the description indicates a decorative embossed door, which is shown in the picture. The cabinet I received had a smooth door, just like a less expensive cabinet of the same dimensions that can be found at csn stores. Otherwise, no complaints.
This is a nice little pantry that fits well in the small space available in my kitchen. It is particle board so if that bothers you, this is probably not a good choice. My only issue with it is that the door does not close completely. This might be due to stiff hinges so it could get better with use. [...]
Not a bad cabinet. Nice country style, well built, however the cabinet door does not close all the way. Maybe if I adjust the hinges a little it will work better, otherwise, pretty decent quality.
STORAGE: We bought this standing pantry because our kitchen lacked space for all of our pots and pans plus pantry items. For providing extra space it has been wonderful. It brings plenty of storage in a very compact space. ASSEMBLY: Overall, it was very easy to assemble. The most difficult part was attaching the door to the frame. The instructions have you attach the door in the last step, which creates a challenge. We needed two people to attach the hinges, one to hold the door in place and on
e to screw the hinges into the frame. Other than that, assembly could be done by a single person.STABILITY: The pantry is very stable. We have no worries about it toppling over or falling apart. It is mostly made of pressed wood, so it is not an incredibly solid piece of furniture, but it should fulfill its purpose without warping or coming apart.PROBLEMS: My only major complaint with the pantry is the door design. The door will not close all the way, leaving a half-inch to an inch gap. This allows you to see most of the contents of the pantry from the right angle, and there's really no way to fix it. This is the biggest reason that this pantry will not be a piece of furniture that we keep for very long. Instead, it is something that we will be glad to get rid of when we either no longer need the space or can afford something nicer.PRICE: I found it to be a little on the expensive side for what it is and would be able to recommend it much more strongly at a lower price point.
This cabinet is very nice looking. Sturdy and roomy. Our only complaint was that the door was a little warped so it wouldn't stay shut and it hung out. We purchased a clouple of magnetic catches and installed one on top and bottom and it does the trick.
This cabinet coordinates perfectly with the buffet and I loved it so much that I wanted to order another. It's unfortunate they are now out of stock. For those of you who were disappointed in this cabinet you should have exchanged it for what you did like so the others of us who liked this one could get another, and we all could have been happy.
This is a nice pantry, I could tell from the given measurements that it was not going to be very big. I'm a little disappointed because the shelves are not as long as they could be, they are only a little more than 11 inches deep, I expected them to be 14 inches deep. Otherwise it's very nice, seems sturdy. Easy to assemble.
