I got this TV in Jan of 2011. At first the TV worked great. Decent picture quality and seemed like a nice value. However a few months ago the TV started turning off and on by itself. I didn't think too much of it at the time and it really wasn't frequent enough to be an inconvience. Then in March of 2012 the TV just decided to go crazy. The volume will go all the way down and then the volume bar will stay up as if someone is pressing down on the button. Then out of no where the volume will turn all the way to max. I have contacted Phillips and tried doing a software update and a hard reset on the TV and neither worked. After those Phillips stopped even responding to my emails for help since the warranty is only for a year and the TV started doing this after a year and two months. After researching it online it seems quite a few people have similar issues with Phillips TVs.. Save yourself having to buy another TV a year later and go with another brand.

On my old TV I had external speakers set up to use, but found on the Philips, the sound is great and I don't need the extra speakers. I did do some manual adjusting to the picture/sound and I am very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. [...........]

I purchased the Philips 22" TV earlier this year for my 6 year old to use for his Wii games so he didn't monopolize the main TV. We all love the TV. It has a great screen.

I bought this TV at Target 11 days ago and it stopped working, colored lines were going through the screen. [...] I can't believe Philips is still in business. [...] Buy another brand!One star is to good of a rating......

This TV [Philips 22" Class] for my office or den room are very BEST than the other 22" RCA TV. It is very easy to set up. It had an ncredible brilliant color! Wow! Thumb up!! Highly recommend!

We bought this for our kitchen which currently doesn't have a HD hookup, so the picture isn't so great with regular cable. Pretty grainy. One channel looks pretty good though, so I imagine with HD the picture would be really nice. The reason it is being returned is that it is 'haunted'! Usually in the middle of the night a very VERY loud static sound starts coming out of it although the TV is off. It reminds me of Poltergeist. It happens all the time and freaks out my dog (me too). I have to tu rn the TV on to get the static sound to go away, then turn it back off. I won't be exchanging for the same... will look for a different brand.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This Television, is absolutely amazing. I'm so glad I was patient and didn't buy one of those crappy Dynex LCD tvs. This is an amazing piece of work. The LED quality is truly amazing. This tv has the brightest colors I've ever seen. The sound quality is amazing, the picture is amazing. I even charge my iPod with it (has a USB port) and it also has a PC input. I plugged my laptop in and it was just AMAZING to watch HD shows with Hulu.com. I love this TV! It's great! The best part? I don't even have cable! :P I simply plugged in a 99 cent antenna and BAM! I get all the local DTV HIGH DEFINITION channels on here :) NBC, FOX, UNIVISION, TELEFUTURA, CW, ABC, CBS ETC ETC. AMAZING. I would totally recommend it! Plus it's the perfect size! I love Philips! Buy it while you still can! :D
