I am very sorry to say, even though it seems to be a good idea, the powermat I ordered had no connection for my phone, which is a Nokia 2720. Even though I have other appliances, the main reason I purchased this product was for my phone and since it didn't work out, I will be returning it in the near future. Thank you for your time.

I received one for Christmas and am returning it. I saw it before Christmas and looking at the box it looked like a really neat thing to have. However, you have to purchase other things so you can charge your phone etc. You have to plug everything in so, you might as well just use the charger you have.Looking at the box you think you can just lay your phones etc. on the pod and it will charge them. That is not the case. They need to take this back to the drawing board.

I thought this would be a really cool device to have since I own an iPhone and Nintendo DSL. But what it doesn't tell you is that you have to spend around another $.... to get the accessories to make it a "wireless" charger. What a ripoff. I got it for a Christmas gift and am taking it back.

I saw the ad and had to get it for my husband. It looks so easy, but it doesn't show the extra accessories requried and the plug-in charge required. We returned this item and were truly disappointed. I believe it is false advertising. Just plug your phone in the regular way and save the $.....

It would be less than one star if that was an option

I have never seen a more poorly designed, improperly advertised item in my life. BIG WASTE of MONEY! This item requires you purchase additional add-on accessories to work properly and does not even have them available for most items. When we saw the commercials it appeared that you could easily charge multiple items with no cords. Each item that you want to charge is an additional cost of $$. If you don't want to spend $$ more on accessories, you will be spending $$ more on universal charging p ods that use cords to attach to the unit. This is a endless money product and not really that cool. Do not buy this item until they work out LOTS of problems. Ours is going back!

I love the convince of wireless charging. However, after using the product with my Blackberry Curve and blackberry curve powermat receiver I have experienced some cons to the product. I have found that my cell phone isn't charged up as much as it was when I was using the manufacturer's power cord. Prior to the Powermat I could charge my phone ever other night and for normal use I had no power issues. With using the powermat, every day the cell phone battery is out of power before or at the end of the night. It doesn't seem to get enough power using the Powermat. Another issue that I have experienced is that if I charge the phone in the late afternoon (because I have no cell phone batter left) and I place the phone on the charger with full battery, powermat will not charge the phone for the entire night. This might seem like a good idea, however, in the morning I see that my battery is 1/2 full but it has been on the powermat all night... grrr. The last issue I experienced was that after charging the phone all night I picked up my phone and the voice command was frozen. I had to restart my phone. I eventually just hid the voice command icon from the application menu and the problem went away... no big deal because I don't use the voice command feature.Bottom line... wait for version 2 or save your $.... and plug your free cord into your phone.

This thing works great!!! Bought a battery door reciever for my Blackberry and it works great but doesn't fit in the phone case with the charging door on. The universal charging cube charges everything I have in my house that needs charged. The usb port in back works great but not with my daughters Ipod touch. It comes with a unversal charger but I am going to buy another. All in all it is a neat charger that works great and now I can put away all those other chargers in the house!

I have had the home unit for several weeks. We have the case/adapter for the iPod touch and the universal adapter for an older cell phone that charges via mini USB. The cool thing is that when the device is done charging the powermat automatically stops using electricity. So you're not wating energy by leaving your charger attached all the time. Will be geeting a battery door for blackberry soon. Highly recomend this product to anyone wanteding to rid themselves of the cords, etc. Very Cool.
