My wife bought me this for Xmas replacing the Hamilton Beach that we had and used often.I don't like the Proctor Silex because I don't like the switch it is hard to squeeze. I'll probably give this one to my daughter and get the Superior Hamilton Beach one.

I had a [...] Electric knife and it served me well for many years. It worked up till the day I dropped it. I wanted an exact replacement but couldn't find one online so I bought a Proctor Silex. Lo and Behold, it is identical to my [old brand]. The design had not changed in these many years and the only difference was the name decal. [...] Anyway, the PS knife is also performing well, as expected.
