This is an outstanding game that tells a great story with memorable and occasionally laugh-out-loud-funny characters. Think about great moments that you remember from spaghetti Western movies, put them all into one 20- to 40-hour epic feature, and picture yourself in the starring role. Now you have some idea of what's waiting for you in Red Dead Redemption
Black ops is all the rage right now but i think when xmas comes, this game will be. it is litterally the funnest game ive ever played. Hours of single player. Hours of multiplayer, hours of plain fun, i highly recomend this over any game
Rockstar defiantly did a better job with red dead than gta 4 for the graphics. As for the movies i thought they were much to dragged out in the beginning but once you get into the story they are more than a part of the game... it made the game i felt. Story line was very strong throughout the entire game however it does fissile in the end but comes back strong. the weapons are great realistic for what they can do and how available the ammo is, not abundant but defiantly enough you wont be getti
ng mad searching for an hour to go shoot one man. if you like gta at all this game is the best of those by far. the western theme gives a whole new prospective for shooting people. i enjoyed the game for 17hrs then it was done... but there are plenty of side missions to do also. but the free play wasnt the best, shoot this guy then run and get shot by 10 police men was about all it had. so replay i feel was poor but nothin to cry about. buy it play it sell it great game for a month.
From those who brought you Grand Theft Auto bring you Red Dead Redemption, the story of wild west outlaw John Marston. Everything about this game is flawless, the landscapes are amazing, dialogue and storyline are top notch, and combat/shooting mechanics leave the player desiring more. The game took me roughly 20 hours to beat which is well worth your money. Another developer looking to make a sandbox style game should takes notes on Red Dead Redemption, quite possible the best game of 2010.
Red Dead Redemption comes to us from the people that do Grand Theft Auto, and a lot of what is in this game migrated from GTA. First off, there is a lot to do in this game. There are missions along the story line that take you to 3 different regions of the map. There are also side missions where you get rewarded with money and fame for capturing criminals for the local sheriff, and also you can build up skills like hunting or looking for treasure. Needless to say, tens of hours can be spent pla
ying this game, and the story is for you to unfold.
