I have been using foil shavers for many years, and this one does not shave as close as any others I have used over the years. I leave the house with a noon shadow. It does collect the whisker debris, for what that is worth. I take the head off mine and tap it against the sink to empty it after every shave. Otherwise it's only good for a few weeks. By emptying it out, the head will last 4 or 5 weeks before it is too dull to use any more. I have a very heavy beard. Big problem is Remington no longer makes this shaver, or parts for it, and they have nothing left in stock. I cannot find heads ANYWHERE. I got mine on sale for [$$], but I would not pay [$$] for it, even if replacement heads were still available. At that price point, there are better shavers out there. My primary reason for choosing this one is you can shave with the cord plugged in. I travel a lot, so sometimes no time to charge it. It will leak whisker debris while traveling, if it gets inverted and shook up enough.

I received my shaver with several extra replacement shaver heads, VERY quickly; [...] It took about 30 minutes to get a great full charge. I tested it with a really good, several minute shave. It provided a very nice, close shave with no nicks, cuts, or scrapes. I immediately noticed a great after-shave feel. It felt as if I had used one of the more expensive shavers. Having had a very pricey, [other] shaver, this performed admirably and I would place it on par with some of the more moderately priced shavers on the market. Overall, an excellent shaver, that recharges quickly and provides an outstanding shave. Definitely top-notch for the price. A definite "must-have" for every man.

Noisiest shaver my hubby has ever owned and it doesn't hold a charge for long. Gives a good shave and he hasn't had to replace the heads yet so can't comment on that.

The price was right. The main person using this item had a very hard time getting a close shave. I like the disposable heads.

Cordless Shaver was given to my on-the-go newphew and he had always wanted one. He was looking to buy one for the gym to work travel days and I purchased this remington cordless shaver for his xmas gift. He LOVES IT. He usually does an old fashioned shave with cream, but needed something easier & convenient for mid-week gym visits. thanks for the great price and gift.

I ordered this shaver for my husband as was impressed with the fact that it was an electric shaver, with disposable heads. I figured that he would be able to use it for a couple months before he'd have to change the blade, however to my disappointment, heads only work for a couple uses. This is because the head collects the hair and once its full (which doesn't take much), it stops working, then you have to replace the head. So overall, it a good idea, but it would cost a lot of money to keep r eplacing the head every couple uses.

Great shaver at a nice price, gives close shave. Remington is an excellent brand. The replacement blades are disposable, but usually last for 4 months.
