ooook!! so before i bought this curling wand i bought the one that has a smaller barrel. i have slightly thicker hair and with the 1/2-1 inch barrel it made the curls too tight and kinda gave me a fro-looking hairstyle lol. so then i found out that this curling wand came in a bigger barrel, bought it, and voila!! perfection!! it works great with my hair. does exactly what i want to do with my hair, whether i want beachy waves or a loose bouncy curl. great product!! Remington Pearl Ceramic is TH E best and for such a great price too

I have very thick, hard to curl hair. I have been looking for a good iron to purchase. This styling wand was [a great price] and had really good reviews, so I took a chance. I will be returning it tonight. I spent over a half hour trying to get one curl. Nothing but a wave was produced. I tried smaller sections of hair, larger sections of hair, switching what hand I was curling with, and nothing worked. I had it set at its highest heat and nothing but a wave. I am disappointed, as I rea lly like Remington products. I do not recommend this wand at all.

I have very long thick straight hair and i was about to give up on trying to curl untill i noticed a new trend in curling irons. I decided to give this a try cause worst case scenario is that i return it. I love this curling iron, it gives me beautiful curl/waves that last about 2 almost 3 days. It does take a min to get use to usen this style iron but once you do styling is a breeze and you'll love it.

I have superfine hair that has always been difficult to curl. In my 36 years, it has NEVER held curl for more than a few hours at a time. Rainy/windy days? Forget it--I wouldn't even bother to try curling it. This tool has changed everything. The other reviewers are right...there is absolutely a learning curve when you first try it. I debated whether or not I wanted to keep it the first 2 times I tried it because it is a little tricky. However, I've stuck with it and become faster and be tter with practice. Not only does it produce tight, spiral curls when held for 20 seconds or so, my hair stays very curly all day long. I have even SLEPT on the curls and woken the next morning with lovely, defined waves. I also love love love that I can have curls without the giveaway 'crimp' that you get from the clamp on an iron or the clips you use with curlers. It continues to awe me each time I use it.

If you don't buy this product, you will be missing out on the best product ever. It's cheap, it works, and it's fast. I have fine, thin hair and it works The curls are soft and they look really gorgeous. No sleeping in curlers, and no tired hands from using a curling iron......I am so happy!!!!

[...] today i just returned the iron and bought this. people think [$] is a rip off and the pink part looks all shiny. Well, in real life it isnt. its a really cute pink, the buttons are VERY easy to use and you dont get a bad smell of heat when you finish your curls. In fact, im sitting right next to my wand to cool off. it certainly satisfied me! in about 1 minute and a half, i got 2 thick parts of my hair done! how great! and it gives you gourgeous beach waves!! everyone buy this! its a life saver and a time saver

Okay, so if you want bigger beachy waves, take larger sections of hair, you can also turn the heat down if you don't want it too curly. For curls to last longer use higher heat, for waves like everyone is seeing on tv use wider sections. After a little practice you will use it without burning your fingertips and it's worth it. If you can't get the hang of it, then the curling wand iron isn't for you, order a HIGH heat ceramic curling iron, at least 400 degrees. There are good tips I've writt en here, I'm a hairstylist and the key to curling your hair and having it hold is HIGH heat with ceramic tools. Good luck & happy curling.

I couldn't ever curl my hair before this. Magnetic rollers would slide off, hot rollers, clipped irons and velcro rollers would pull and break my thin hair. This is so easy to use and curls stay on all day and it makes my hair look healthier. I don't even use the the highest heat to curl big sections of hair. I love it now I can have curls.

This curling wand is nothing short of amazing! I have thick, naturally curly hair that hangs just above my butt. I only curl my hair once or twice a year because it takes 2 - 3 hours...by the time I finish my whole head the curls have already fallen out almost completely. I've used every high end cream, gel, mousse and hairspray on the market to try and hold my curls, to no avail...until now! I used this wand for the first time yesterday and I must say that I'm in love! First of all, it only to ok 30 minutes to do my entire head, and believe me when I say that it shouldn't have even taken that long because I was being clumsy. Secondly, I didn't have to use product. This thing literally sealed the curl into my hair in less than 20 seconds - and I was curling extremely large sections of hair that should not have been able to be curled all at once. Thirdly, it completely straightened / flattened / smoothed my natural curl which I thought I was going to have to straighten first. Fourth, my curls stayed in all day through heat and humidity, all night through sleeping, and now today. Almost 24 hours later they are beautiful, big, bouncy and shiny! They look very Kardashian-esque. Absolutely worth every penny. Clipless takes some getting used to, glove feels a little awkward, but 100% serves its' purpose. Overall, best hair product / tool I've ever owned...I LOVE MY HAIR!
