Revlon Ionic Hot Air Brush product details page

I purchased this product last weekend, tried using it, and now I'm returning it this weekend. It has a great design, other than the open areas near the attachment end. The holes allow the air to flow - fast - through and blow your hair off the attachment! The only part that "works" is the concentrator - which I didn't care if if came with this product because I wanted the curling abilities. I'm very disappointed, especially since the bristles are the material that I want!

I bought this because it was hard to dry my hair with a round brush and hair dryer, as I have long, thick, curly hair. It took maybe 10 mins tops to dry my hair and it came out smooth, not frizzy like it would normally be.

I was given this product as a gift. I have been drying my hair for 20 years and know how to operate a hair dryer. I used this on the low setting and still it became so hot, I was not able to change the hair brush attachment without wrapping it in a towel. When I was finished drying my hair I looked in the mirror and realized it had burned off a good section (about 1 inch by 1 inch) of my hair in the back of my head. I was left with little stubbles of hair. I called revlon and was advised that t hey don't manufacture this hair dryer, the company Helen of Troy does and they use the Revlon name. If using this product be careful! I don't want anyone else to lose their hair. I'm only giving this product one star because I can't give it no stars.

This product is a must buy! I have very long, thick, coarse, dry, wavy and unruly hair. I've tried so many hair dryers and every time my hair looks like a lion's mane. I almost always have to spend extra time using my straightening iron to tame the beast. I used this once and was so amazed. Not only did it make my hair straight but shiny and soft too. I still use my straightening iron but just to touch up small sections. I can't believe I never knew about this years ago.

Purchased this ionic hot air brush by revlon because my mother had one when I was visiting her. I didn't like that the brush attachment kept popping off so I was leary of getting my own. I saw this one though on target while doing my Christmas shopping and it looked like a newer version of the one mom had. For the price, [$], I decided to get it. I LOVE this product. I have very think wavy hair. A straight iron is too much work and damages my hair so I've always used a hot air brush. This one i s the best yet. I wait till hair is almost dry and it smoothes and defrizzes perfectly. I guess there is something to this 'ionic' revelation!!!

I am not the most coordinated hair styler. I can't use a brush and a hair dryer at the same time, but this product solves all those problems. It works great! My mom loved it too and bought one for herself!

I am looking to get a backup hot brush. I have fine straight hair, medium length hair. This blower works great if I dry my hair halfway with a regular dryer and finish with this. I get lots of body I couldn't get any other way. For the downside, yes, it gets hot and have to be careful to not burn my ears, but I think the heat level is why it works for me. It takes a lot to curl my hair. Yes, the barrell doesn't stay on well. Mine has been duck-taped on for months. This is unfortunate, but it do es the job for me and I am getting a backup because for [$] I know it won't last forever. I have tried other models because of the problem with the barrell falling off, but they others didn't seem to have enough heat or air flow to work. With its faults, I'll stick to this model for the price.

My hair is mid-length and thin, with a natural waive so I have always had to use a straightening iron on it, even when I used a round brush and blow dryer. I really didnt think this would work very well for me but my straightening iron died on me so I thought I would try it out. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It dries my hair in the normal amount of time and it actually leaves my hair shinny with volume and a some curl to it. I havent turned my straighter on in weeks. The only down side-it's loud.

I recently cut my hair short and takes more time to style now. I was looking for a hot air brush that is affordable and easy to use. I am glad I found this at target!!! It's so easy to use and I dun even need to use my hair dryer now. It came with 3 attachments and it's so easy to switch from one to another so I don't have any issue with them falling off as previously stated by another reviewer. I simply put some volumizing mousse on wet hair then I can start blow dry and style my hair at the s ame time. It's such a great product and gives my short flat hair some amazing volume~

I liked it overall. Seemed that the ironic feature didn't make much of difference. Burned my ears a few times with the hot curler. It lasted for 1 year and a half only.
