When I first got this product I was sooo excited to try it out on my hair I have wild crazy frizzy insane curls and when i used this product they mellowed out into beautiful waves and I was inlove with this waver. Literally the third time using this product I'm halfway through my hair when the waver wasnt heating anymore and the light wasn't on anymore, i thought maybe there was something wrong with my outlet so i plug in my straightner to see and I come to find nothing is wrong with the outlet . I was very disappointed.

I've been looking for a product that will maximize volume and give soft, easy looking waves and I'm so happy that I finally bought this product after picking it up and putting it back at least 5 times before today. It's very easy to use - heats up super quick and gets to very hi temps with 30 different settings - but it is kind of clunky in it's size. [...] My hair is about four inches from my waist so I have a lot of hair to cover and it went quickly. My hair is a bit on the thicker side with a very slight natural wave when air-dried and is cut into long layers. I used a heat protectant spray first and combed it through and my hair is super soft and shiny! I definitely recommend!

I purchased mine a month ago. Better off using a flat iron or a 1 barrel 1.5" to make waves. The 2nd time using it, the plastic handle that crimps down broke on me.

I had high hopes for this tool based on reviews. I have coarse, dry hair that tends to be a frizzy mess. This just made me look like the Wicked Witch of the West. My kids were horrified when I picked them up at school with my hair waved. I'm going in-store to buy the TopStyler curling clips next. They don't appear to be available online, but I've heard they're perfect for hair like mine...

I was hesitant to buy a styling tool like this one-my co-worker has the smaller barrell creating a more crimped look, not exactly what I wanted. I saw Revlon had the Jumbo Waver and the package said "Beachy Waves"-I thought "hmmm, I'll give it a go." After trying it out, I fell in love. It really does create beautiful beachy waves. The tool heats up to a very hot temp, it has several heat settings to go with different hair types, so that was helpful as well. The price is won derful too! I have hair about 2 inches passed my shoulders and it took me about 15-20 mins to do, which isn't bad at all. The only downside is, you get quite the arm workout from this guy, it's a bit heavy as you're holding by your head-BUT the end result is very much so WORTH IT! In my opinion.

After buying and trying out many different types of wavers this is THE ONE! Trust me - this creates beautiful bouncy "beachy" waves that are to die for. I have gotten so many compliments after using this product. Before this- I tried the smaller waver that made my hair look as though it was crimped- not the idea I was looking for- then I tried a waver by the makes of [other] which worked- but still not the look I wanted. My hair is shoulder length with some shorter layers and using de eper wavers like the [other] product did not work for me because my hair was too short and only created one row of curls. This Jumbo waver is perfect for creating the look I wanted- I get a lot of waves in a short period of time- only takes me about 10-15 mins. Same as straightening would. Oh by the way I own a [other] straightening iron and compared to that this waver gets just as hot.The only negative thing about this is that it is a bit heavy- and after a while my arm gets tired. So worth it though :)

I just purchased this waver last night & couldn't wait to experiment. I opted for the jumbo waver although the smaller 3- barrel waver was on sale b/c I'm looking for big, loose waves for my long, straight, fine hair. I'm very pleased with the results thus far. It's pretty easy to use & there's tons of tutorials on YouTube should you need it. I admit it tends to get rather heavy while your hands & arms are extended up by your head while grasping the clamp handle but hey, it is a JUM BO tool afterall & the pretty, beachy/braid waves are well worth it. I look forward to practicing & playing around with it more & more. My hair looks like I slept with it in a braid all night and just released it from the elastic (no snag/snag -free but of course!) ;P I'm completely satisfied w/ this purchase! No regrets, even if I did pay a smidgen more then the other model on sale. Very content w/ my choice!
