I love this decanter even though I'd prefer a wider base to give a larger surface area to better aerate the wine. It's quite nice, and certainly for the price.Even for the price though, I'd give it 5 stars if it were a smidge heavier crystal. It's really, really light weight, and makes me afraid it will be broken easily. Given its price, I bought two, so... will have a backup, but I'd love it if I had two heavier decanters, even more! :)

This is a terrific decanter for those who like to let their wines breath a bit before serving. It's also quite handy for wine tastings - which is why I now have 4 of them. At [this price], it can't be beat. Holds an entire 750ml with space to spare. Easy to wash and dry, as well.

We received this off of our wedding registry and it appears to be a great quality decanter, just like we were expecting. Riedel has not let me down yet. Such a good price for a decanter I know we will have for a long time. Very satisfied so far.

I gave this item as a gift to my neighbor, a fellow wine lover. I have the same type of decanter that I received as a gift myself, and I think it is quite lovely. Reidel is an exquisite brand!

I registered for all the Riedel wine glasses and this decanter and I have to admit, the no lead crystal does make a difference! This decanter allows the wine to 'bloom' (or breathe) and enhances the flavor of red wine immensely. I would highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys drinking wine (beginner or experienced!)

I work in a popular NYC French/American restaurant, and we use Riedel crystal...When my best friend chose this as part of her wedding registry, I thought it such a great value, that I bought one for myself. It's perfect; you get a major brand name for an affordable price. I'm not a wine snob, it's not an impression I'd want to give off, but this piece would impress anyone. It's sleek and sophisticated without being showy or pretentious. Plus, we had plenty of money left over to purchase a very special bottle of wine to pair it with. I Love it!FYI: Riedel Decanters run $140 and up!
